Ouch Suzy that is annoying!! Who is the airline - because if its BA or someone they should refund pretty quickly if you make a fuss but the budgets probably enjoy earning profit on your cash sadly :(

Thanks Bex. It is with Virgin, but they don't have my money. It's stuck somewhere between the bank (who have my 'authorisation' via the booking to pay the money) and the booking agents, even though the flight doesn't even exist. The most frustrating thing is dealing with a different person at the agency and I have to explain the whole thing again and again.

At 5.27pm I FINALLY found out which department could actually do something constructive but by the time I'd explained the whole story yet again, the department concerned had shut at 5.30pm so another day has now gone past.

Angry doesn't even begin to describe me today. Still, in the great scheme of things and considering what is happening in the world it is pretty irrelevant.
YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

really....it's not hard to understand :T

She writes her name beautifully so I know she can do it, obviously she has written that over and over!
I think the other thing that is tricky is that they do cursive writing so everything she does is joined up *they don't ask for much do they...flipping heck*

Will have a chat with teacher tomorrow but am just going to get her reading and practice the letters in some sand or paint in a tray.

Awww she is only little bless her.....I found my girls didn't like to be 'forced' to do anything ...I am not for one minute suggesting you are forcing her, but I think letting them think its their idea works better...

Actually I find telling my girls they can't do something usually has the opposite effect on them...(contrary sods they are!)

Sammy, you're a genius! It looks like I'd downloaded napster thingy but it hadn't properly installed, which is why it wasn't working.

And nope. Still saying it can't connect to napster. I'm further along than I was though!

Suzy, that's crap about your card, I had something similar once when I bought petrol, they added a zero, refunded it and took the right amount but it took a few days for the big amount to go back into my account. I hope you can still get your tickets when it's sorted out.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

My goodness, they're asking a lot of them. We try to get the basics there (proper pen grip, start letters at the top etc) but they're not expected to join up their writing until year 2.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Blimey Sally, I didn't manage joined up writing till I was a secondary. Well, not that was legible anyway. Although some would say I still haven't mastered it...
