Hi El,
Sorry about the job - feedback can be useful, but just remember that there may have been someone else they interviewed that had just a bit more experience or who would take a lower salary!
Got an idea for you for increasing your steps per day though... get a family member to hide your keys each evening - you'll rush around the house like a whirling dervish every day before you leave :rotfl:
A hobby that gets you out & about is a good idea - now the weather's getting better (again) I'm looking at going walking a lot of weekends - if you're anywhere near Hampshire you're more than welcome to join me for a tramp in the woods/up a hill/along a river with a packed lunch!Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

You sound really determined about your challenge by the way - good luck! I need to lose weight too, or tone up at least. I love playing squash - it's very satisfying hitting a ball as hard as you can when you've had an argument with the other half and you really want to hit them round the head instead lol!
I'm not sure how long you're supposed to wait after having a baby to start exercising again, but I'm so full of energy. If it wasn't for the spd I'd be doing all sorts! I can't swim yet because you have to wait a full 7 days after the (ahem - tmi alert) bleeding has stopped, and it hasn't fully stopped yet (although it nearly has).
We can motivate each other to lose weight!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
6 stone is a lot. I started Slimming World last August and have lost 4 stone 2 pounds. Thing is I can still loose another 2 stone 5 pounds!!! I've been struggling with it recently but getting fit is great.
I love my exercise DVD's, I'm not brave (or rich) enough to join a gymCurrent debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Last time I was in bad pain for about 6 months (3 months of it was agonising, couldn't walk without crutches or a wheelchair and had to sleep sitting up ).
I'm nowhere near as bad this time thank goodness, but I'm under the physio (ooh-er) for another 3 weeks and then they'll review how I'm doing. It will take longer to go because I'm breastfeeding, so you have all the baby hormones floating around your body for longer, but it will go in the end....I hope!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Well I was tricked by my cousin. She was sat in front of me in tears one day as she'd put on 2 stone since meeting her now husband. So I promised to go with her and then on the day she pulled out. But I was in the 'zone' to go so I went on my own  which was terrifying.
Bless my cousin she then got engaged and put on another 2 stone. She is joining me at my slimming class for the 1st time tonight.
But if you want, I'll help you. Although I've been doing really badly recently, not sure I've lost anything this weekCurrent debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0
