If the first one was bought up would it lower the amount they have offered you for the second? If so i'd say accept it. if not go fight girl!! good luck xx

I hope you get through to the lawyer - I guess with the second one they will probably try to say that the injuries were caused initially by the first one, so they only have limited liability for a recurrence of them this time.

If your lawyer's going to be away for several weeks insist that your case(s) are handed over to a colleague and that you're informed who this is for contacting purposes.

i think that is the way it will go with the second one and to be honest i was no where near as badly hurt as i was the first time...i just dont want it to affect the first claim (the second accident that is)

Go with your gut feeling hun. If you feel that the second offer is half way decent, it might be worth getting it out of the way so you don't waste your energy worrying about it - you can then just get on and deal with the first one, without having the second one hanging over you too.

On the other hand, if you feel up for the fight.....well, I have a pair of boxing gloves that you can borrow x (don't really, but couldn't think what else I could put.....:o )

well got hold of the lawyer and she has explained a few things to me...i have decided to go for the court proceedings it may get messy but she honestly believes the offer is pathetic for what i have suffered and that i can possible get as much as double the amount offered she has explained that the insurance company have been trying this tactic on alot just now with a good few people and for alot she would recommend taking the money but not in my case ..she says that the second accident will only affect the case slightly in that i now have a year cut off date but my even help slightly as to the emotional aspect of it (i explained what a mess i was in) so that is how it stands just now will keep you updated as to how else it goes
