Oh Elantan, I'm so sorry, you poor thing. What a horrible thing to happen. I can't imagine how crappy you feel. Having a really good cry will probably help, you need to let it all out. I don't think there's much I can say that will make things seem any better, but I just wanted you to know I am thinking about you, and you've got friends here if you need to talk/moan/rant.

Oh that's great to read - obviously not that you're sore, but that it's not as bad as last time. Do take it easy - lots of nice baths etc :) Let us know how you get on :)

dealing with insurances is bad enough but dealing with my mother and father in law well that is a totally other story ...the car is theirs but i am on their insurance so i phoned the insurance and explained what happened etc i was told to contact the agent to get the ball rolling legally (didnt happen this way last time) and he would contact father in law to find out about damage etc (even though i have already told him he needed to get it confirmed) so i phoned agent and got that bit underway the guy phoned father in law and spoke to him father in law was happy enough then half hour later had mother in law on phone saying were gonna have to take car into garage to find out exactly how bad it is and i said yep sounds right they will come and take car away give you car in exchange i will give you excess fee so your not out of pocket (thankfully have gambling money to cover this) and i will claim it back she said no were just gonna take it to local garage to much hassle..i'm like but if you do that they will charge to get it fixed and i cant afford that she said but we dont want to loose our no claims discount i explained to her she has this covered and anyway it was the other car that was at fault so not to worry about that finally got her to understand this idea ...gave them the number to phone to get things rolling (i'm not allowed to) they have phoned back saying they a)dont have policy number and have given wrong one b) no-one at the insurance place knows anything about the situation c) dont want the hassle so are going to garage ..i told him to phone back and say " is it possible my daughter in law can deal with this situation" and if it is i will deal with it all ...and yes now i am crying again ...i dont have the money to fix the car i have had to take time off work i wont get paid except ssp which isnt enough why oh why does it happen to me ...sorry to moan but i'm sat here all alone and feeling so sorry for myself again...hubby has phoned and said he will come home but he only has a few days left of annual leave and we might need it for an emergency so told him not to
