well i got my part time wages through today and i'm still in the red it wont cost me too much in interest this month but i was hoping to have been at the stage that this wasnt happening by this time ...i did have my betting money which i couldve switched over but i was hoping to bet that to get us spending money for our hols and didnt want to keep switching between accounts incase i needed it ....but that has had to go temporarily too ..and i'm meant to go out for lunch today and buy my friends wee girl a second b/day present ...
although to be honest we havnt spent much this week at all still using the food in the freezer etc apart from bread and milk (yes i do have a bread maker but for pieces hubby and son find it too heavy on their stomachs) that's all i've spent on ...need to do something soon before this becomes a habit (going into the red that is) ....
think i'm having a moaning day today ..heaven help them at lunch he he ..0 -
Hi El, I'm finding it more and more difficult as the month goes on! All the bits and pieces of work that I'm doing won't pay out until next month and yet the demands for money keep coming in NOW!
The family moaned this morning that there was nothing for their sarnies. I responded that there was honey or marmite so be grateful. I think they think I am a nasty witch of a wife/mother whose only role in life is to deprive them of luxury ham and cheese.....
I too am off out for lunch - I need to cheer up a friend who has the anniversary of her dad's death today so lovely lunch it is, although I am going somewhere where I can use vouchers
Still no news at this end re travel insurance or bank court date. These things are starting to bug me big time!

hypno those barclay barstewards are being a pain in the @rse to you aint they ....and the insurance that's why you pay the dammed thing ...my family are feeling the same way although i do have to say since they changed my sons primary school food in primary three (8 years ago now) he has refused to eat school food ( he used to love it as well) and has only ever eaten...pieces and jam or pieces and cheese ...i have tried everything else but he wont eat it ...he just says jam /cheese ...what kindve a diet is that ...i dont have the money to give him so he can go and buy food out of a shop so he's left with the jam/cheese...sounds like a punishment to me ....did try once to get them to give him a pot noodle ...i supplied the pot all they needed to do was add the hot water...i got called into the school and told that teachers dont have the time to add water into a pot noodle ...have you ever heard so much !!!!!! in your life ...i did spend the primary school years of my sons education arguing with the teachers ...i think they were glad when he moved onto secondary school0

We have run out of fruit too, so I tried to tempt them with Nairns oatcakes that were languishing at the back of the cupboard.
