I would happily go to any of them but Pisa would be my first choice.

I don't see much of my sisters...we fell out over a game of Trivial Pursuit about 3 years ago....

We still speak, but bizarrely have never been close since then! We live a fair distance from each other, so it's probably a bit of 'out of sight, out of mind' too.

Apparently they are planning to come and see the baby when she's born though, so we'll see what happens!

I was trying to think which of the places you mentioned I'd like to visit, and came to the conclusion that 'any of them' would be my answer!

ok; do not want to put my foot in it but so far as your lawyer is concerned repeat calls are often counter productive. The lawyer gets so that they feel they cannot deal with that file and put it off...... (I've been there when really busy - left firm as felt could not give clients a good service). Some people working at the large firms (rather than the local small ones) joke about Mr so and so calling again and put the file to the back of teh queue - I heard this at Uni and was horrified. Leave it a day or two and if you do not hear then get out your original instruction letter - may be called client care or Rule 15 - and find out who to complain to; I am sure you will have a log of unreturned calls! There is usually a pertner in charge of that department and then a client care partner. In mitigation I would say that I (as most of my colleaugues do) work on the basis that all calls made before 4.30 are returned same day and I usually manage to work within a 3 day turnover - often better.

thanks for the advice i dont want to be a pest i just wish they would return the calls, i've even sent emails i just feel like they arn't bothering their backsides ...i doubt they are getting much money for dealing with my case as i paid the extra onto my insurance but surely that is no excuse for shoddy workmanship...this case has been going on for very nearly a year now (on the 19th it will be a year) ...i spose i'm just frustrated with the seeming lack of professionalism

I'd disagree with this, as far as my experience can be useful, and would say that the client who shouts loudest usually gets "done" first.

    Keep bugging them.
