so after my bad day yesterday i got up much more positive ..just back from cash and carry ..not to sure how much i spent yet but will figure it out just shortly..was reading a bit earlier about martins plans for a charitable organisation..sounds like a great idea to me..i noticed whilst reading it he mentioned the o.u course that i applied for ..that got me to thinking i havn't recieved any paper work throguh form it yet ..so i phoned and they told me that the way i joined i couldn't use my I.L.A money ..so i've had to cancell it and will have to sign up again in a few day's ..thanks martin for mentioning it ..i would've had to find £200 to pay for it otherwise....nothing else really to mention except i got my cheaque book in from r.b.s today ..i think i may need to phone up and see what exactly is going on..oh and i've sourced soem kefir grains today ..and a slow cooker from freecycle ..don't ya just love that place.hope your all having a cool day and i'll let you know what i spent later...are we ready for tomorrow? can everyone who's joining reply so we all know who's doing it ..cheers0

good luck with your kefir........    yuk!!!
Am intrigued to see how challenge goes. Was thinking of joining in, but know I would win hands down so doesn't seem fair on you all (ok, only cos away this weekend, 4 nights next week, 3 nights following week, then holiday next, otherwise not a cat in hells chance!!!!!!!)
good idea too about clearing debts 1 at a time. go girl!!!!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

well here i am at the end of the day figured out i spent £76.25 on food etc from cash and carry so i only have £123.75 left till august 20th boo hoo..havn't done much else d.f ..can't even get a reply from the lady who offered me the slow cooker ....oh my world has turned to mince...only joking ..spoke to hubby about the plan of getting one debt down tonight he thought that was a great idea ..so onwards and upwards mr.visa ..you will be gone before you know it ....0

ok ..now this is a bit bizzare and i would love you to tell me what you think...got a letter through today from the black donkey people (well hubby did) saying that he hasn't paid his share save since april..now his company changed in april and we were told we couldn't pay anymore to his share save...so were expecting the money paid to be returned through his wages (were hoping for it this month due to s.s.p) so he phones up and is told he can a) take the money b) take the shares c) pay for a further 6 months then take the shares....it's not a hell of alot of money so a is out either way ..but b is the likely choice due to not being able to find the money for the next 6 months but c) if we borrow money from family we could effectively double our money through the share option...what do you think ? any advice greatly recieved ...i was wondering this morning if i should start chanting money is coming easily to me or not ....think i might just give it a go lol0

ok make that another £2.39 for me today ..however bought taco kit and turnip for tomorrow (turnip reduced to 10p) so I WILL NOT SPEND TOMORROW well i'd better not anyway ...away to change sig again..it only started today and i'm down £78.64 i've gotta get control of this spending ..i've just gotta0

well hubby and i had a good long talk tonight then spoke to the family members that lent us the money to clear one of our overdrafts...they have offered us the £600 to pay the remaining 6 months...so were gonna go with option c .....so my debt has effectively went up £600 i thought i was trying to lose my debt not gain more....also picked up the slowcooker tonight so looking forward to trying the casserole in it tomorrow ....yippee0
