See you 6.30 Sat, will bring BOGOF wine.....
you can keep the kefir though, just googled it....A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

well well well ..now to be totally off the d.f.w role for a minute..or 30..have found out some of the things son was up to whilst on holiday..and it wasn't good...however ... did totally go nuts about it ..but also put it into prspective with age etc..but hubby went really ballistic....saying i never did that etc..only thing he forgot was what he has told me in the past about what he got up to when he was young ..even older than son is now...so like a dutiful wife i reminded him ...he really didn't like it ,,so like a good dutiful wife i reminded him he has no cause to judge etc..didn't like that either...so the end up is...for the first time in ...oohhh must be 10 years or more i was told effectively to f**k off more than once ...ooopsss....can anyone help ..do men not like to be reminded of the fact that a)they were once young or b) they are human and made mistakes ...to be honestly truthfull right now i feel kinda ..well i don't know how i feel..it's usually me who does this( go f**k off thing) and he has stolen my thunder....but he always says (when i do this)....i don't like to go to bed on an arguement...and never has (always talked me round)...which always made me feel even more guilty ...now i don't feel the need to as i know how i feel when i'm in that mood ...LOL..anyway back to d.f.w...0

What did your son get up to? How old is he?0
-
well , he's 15, and thinks like a two year old that it is good to climb over one balcony to another cause he can't find his key's..this is obviously done whilst in the throes (is that how it's spelled) of drink..i read every year of the stupid people who think they can cross over balcony's etc and say ...are they that thick..but low and behold my own son thinks he is superman.....i went nuts...i aint happy ..but at the same time ...i know my hubby has done worse...i've told his gran and pap's (we couldn't afford to go) don't take him again ..he can't be trusted.....i certainly wouldn't put up with it....i've currently barred anyone from staying here and him staying there ...(long story)...in a way i have totally spoiled him...he even knows this.....and admits it....not with money ...but as i was used as a punching bag when young i dared anyone to touch him.....now i'm thinking...i will gladly do it...but that is another story...we humans are so complex arn't we0

so after the night i had last night i decided to have a wee drink myself..pernod i'm afraid...bad bad hangover today ..and can't sleep ..i really can't wait till all the duty free is gone..why do people keep bringing me back duty free and why do i keep drinking it lol ....hubby apologised..but the truth is i did agree with him something has to be done with son..i was just trying to point out that he was once young...boy i make him sound like a dinosaur don't i ......anyway onwards and upwards..i'm still trying to hunt down this kefir...probably pass al capone on the way ....hope your all doing good and having a no spend day..0

((hugs)) - just a gentle one in case you're delicate! i feel like im hungover today but think its just the heat - we're not accustomed to anything above 18degrees in Scotland! LOL!
my 2 sisters and i had a really strict upbringing. this worked well with 2 of us (sailed through school and uni) but the 3rd caused my parents lots of agro and was very stressful. thankfully No3 has turned it all around and we can look back and laugh at what she did (and she did some BAD stuff). It will all work out, but don't make yourself ill doing it. its also the summer hols AKA silly season!
i'm not a big fan of alcohol, i'd put it out of the way until you have folks round or Christmas! my dad has a pretty serious problem so mum actually ditches it when she can.

thaks ali and iriham ....i think to be truthfull i will have to put the alcohol away..i go back to work on friday ..so i'm having no more..iriham i know what youmean when you talk about drink problems..and i don't know if it's just scotland or not maybe some one from down south can let me know...but i think alcohol is so much more accpeted here..i don't have a single friend who doesn't drink....and when one of us makes a total prat of themself ..they just laugh and forget about it....i'm not a big drinker to be fair...don't go over the 14 units per week recomendation ..but still i think i should give up ..or is that just the way i'm feeling today i wonder..yup ali i think the kefir would make me worse today...son wants me to drive him down to friends..he's in for a shock i aint fit to drive lol and never ever drive if i have been drinking the night before anyway....0
