Don't know if it is or isn't, never really thought about it. If it's just chickpeas it can't be bad... I just seem to remember seeing something about it in my diet book, I'll have to have a look tonight!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

What's houmous like? I keep seeing it mentioned as some kind of wonder diet snack but I'm not sure if I fancy it!

How can you not have had houmous?! :D There are weeks when I pretty much survive on pitta bread and houmous! Give it a go ;) The best lowfat version by far is the M&S one; otherwise there are all sorts of varieties now with pesto and peppers and things floating on the top and they're all YUM!

Hi Snowdonlily  I reckon you can hit your target by July and you've already made a start, so here's to looking stunning by summer:beer:

Lara, that's rubbish! Use the ones at home... ;) It doesn't really matter as long as you don't switch between the two.

I'm dreading weighing in tonight! When I hopped on the scales at home after holiday I was all 'ha ha, I've put on SO much weight' but now I'm not looking forward to seeing the numbers in black and white!

and fill the rest of your plate up with veg (except potatoes and sweetcorn)

    Hi

I'm lurking cos I'm interested but not a fan of diets. I was just wondering what was wrong with sweetcorn?

Now I feel bad for victimising sweetcorn! It's not bad as such, but it's not a *free* veg, like broccoli or mushrooms or tomatoes so you have to limit your intake. Although I don't see that it can have loads of calories in it as we don't even digest it properly, if you know what I mean

Lol, yep, pesto is pretty much just oil! I limit myself to the low fat, no nonsense type now. It doesn't taste anything like real houmous that you get in Greece (or from the kebab shop!) but it's nice enough :)

I love houmous! Home-made is best, and it's well easy. It's nice if you like, lemony, garlicky type dips. YumYumYum.

I think I'll have to weigh in the same time as my Nan cuz we're gonna do WW together. So mine will probably be Friday! My points allowance is 19, your allowance does seem very stingy Poddle!

Breakfast today was 2 weetabix with 2 teaspoons of sugar (:o)
Lunch was a M&S ham, egg and salad roll (7.5 pts!) and some ready salted potato sticks and a mini cheese stick. God knows how many points.
Dinner is fajitas which aren't bad :A
