I am back on the wagon too. So far today I have had special k and just having salad and pitta bread for lunch :T

Hopefully I will be all brown and skinny in Egypt. If I eat something dodgy that could help hAHA.

I want to be brown and skinny too!

I skipped breakfast by accident (bad Poddle) and have just had wholemeal pitta with tuna pate and a cup of tea. I'm planning to snack on a banana and two satsumas which make me giggle whenever I open my desk drawer *childish*

Well done Tete - a bit alarming about the height loss too though, eh?! x

    Hey guys

Just got back from Uganda yesterday, had a great time. Lots of sweating and walking around seems to have helped me shift a few lbs too! I haven't weighed in for a few weeks as things have been mental, but I am down 4lbs yay. I can definitely feel the difference which is nice, clothes feeling like they fit properly instead of catching on my 'thunder thighs'. Seems to have renewed the motivation a bit as well :)

I can't seem to remember what I actually started off weighing - whoops. Poddle can I change my target to 11lbs instead of 12lbs? So 4 to go then....

Yes best eat that fruit to stop the childish giggle fits Poddle, height loss a bit alarming, but as they had me down as 6'2" last week I think I can afford those couple of inches! :D

Hello fat fighters, I'm back on the wagon well and truly, want to be all gorgeous and skinny for when the strappy tops come out! (Even though it's forecast snow this week!)

I reported didn't I that according to Boots scales last week I was 11 stone?!!! I've just been and weighed myself again and am down to 10 stone 11lbs - so that's a bit better, but curiously I also seem to have shrunk by a couple of inches! Anyway, I've put myself down as a 3lbs loss and sorted out my account with FoodFocus; if I lose 1.5lbs per week I can be 9.13 by 25th May...

Today I have eaten so far:

    2 coffees
    2 mint teas
    1 very small apple
Quite a large portion of wholewheat past with tuna, toms, mushrooms, sweetcorn and onion - which according to FF only comes out at 320 cals!

Planned for the rest of the day:
    Another very small apple
    Porridge or cereal for tea
    Probably about four more cuppas!

I'm unsure of getting weighed in Boots at 50p per go though, not very MSE. But it doesn't match my scales so not sure what to do. Need batteries anyway!

How's everyone else doing? Welcome Wendz - you'll look all skinny and brown in Egypt! How's the Harcombe going Dinah?

Maybe save some Dooyoo vouchers for Amazon to get some new accurate digital scales?

Be careful not to undereat there, last thing you want is your body to think its starving and store everything you eat! Eating less than 1000 calories a day is not a way to loose weight and keep it off, you'll just feel drained and cranky.

Harcombe is going well, except I feel really guilty everytime I have a 'fat' meal. I can't stop counting the calories still anyway, and I'm aware I need the fat meal for the nutrients, but it does feel like maybe people have such great weight loss because they are following such strict rules rather than just trying to cut back a bit and still have treats. We'll know if its actually working on Wednesday when I next weigh in.

I went shopping yesterday with OH, and now I am a proud owner of a denim miniskirt of size 10 and a leather jacket of size 10-so so glad! They were all reduced, skirt from £40 to £9 in Debenhams, jacket from £78 to £29.99 so it was a bargain ;). Bring on the meeting with my father on Wednesday, he'll be amused!!!

My scales are digital Dinah, just the batteries have gone. I'd have thought the Boots ones would be as accurate as you can get, but then you're doing it with all your clothes on!

Well done Kavics! On the weight loss and the bargains!

I think the neked at home method is probably more reliable, scales at home don't have kids playing on them all day!

Yeah I'm thinking that even if they're wrong, at least they're consistent if that makes sense - so if I go from 11 st to 10.5, I might not really be 10.5 but will have lost half a stone ... 'get batteries' now added to to do list!
