Fine then - NO - you must start NOW - step away from the Easter eggs (preferably give them to a pet to drool on) and go hit the treadmill - move move move!!!

Ah Ziggles you'll be right at home here! I have one large caramel egg (nomnomnom indeed) and I was debating whether it was best to just eat it all yesterday and start afresh today... There is some logic to it! Honest!

But I'm going to join a new gym today (with the money I saved from not paying last year sshh :o) and I'm quite looking forward to it! I'll try to ration out the egg, but I can't quite bring myself to give it wholeheartedly to oH!

Dinah, I know what you mean-the cereal I eat is 30g per serving and actually I measure it every day:o. It's teeny tiny amount and I get really hungry around ten but I want to stick to it for a couple of weeks. OH eats chocolate weetabix every day, a box lasts for 4 days, it's cheaper to dress him nowadays than feed him! Oh, yeah, and we are measuring the pasta portion as well, has anybody realized that 75g of pasta is actually a huge amount for one person? I guess I eat around 45g, oh eats a 105 g:D.

I weigh my Start everyday too - it's the only way I don't carried away and it's not so bad :D! But pasta is a whole other matter - 45g is nothing!! Me and OH probably have 200g between us - gulp...

I have about 50g wholemeal pasta if I'm having a pasta dish for packed lunch and it's not a bad amount at all. But then could happily eat 100g cereal and still be peckish!

    Mmmmm, Staaaarrrrrrrrt.....

I am quite good with cereal and have a really small bowl and normally get bored half way through as I eat it at my desk at work and get distrated. My bad time for eating is evening snacks so I am only allowing myself fruit in the evening now.

Today wasn't too bad. I had special k for breakfast, salad, pitta and houmous for lunch. We did go for dinner at La tasca but I had a diet coke to drink when my Mum and sister had wine and I had quite a lot of salad and a few bits of the other stuff.

it was only wheni started ww years ago that i realised the virtues of weighing stuff. Now i'm like totally fanatic about portion size...my problem is sweeties...i just buy too many small ones and then eat em all in one go!

    Hi All
Reporting back from Weigh in....put on a pound in 2 weeks:eek::eek: Well no real surprise there but i am really fed up of losing the same few pounds over and over.
i will have lost this one by next thursday so i can get serious!
will go back to serious meal planning.
Also bought a Bach's emotional eating kit as i am prone to bingeing. Anyone tried it or know someone who has? I figure even the placebo effect is better than nothing!

Sorry to hear about the gain! Haven't heard of the Bach's kit I am afraid.

I lost a pound this week which I am quite pleased with as wasn't the best week but is all going in the right direction. I have found that I am not eating as much and my appetite has srunk a little bit which is good.
