  • Good morning everyone! Well done Mr Tete, that's absolutely brilliant.

I weighed myself this morning, and I'm still 9 stone 6lbs, which is brilliant, as to be honest I wasn't very good last week, better, but NOT good!

I'm hoping to loose 2lbs this week, so I've had my ready brek this morning, and I've decided to cut out two cups of normal tea, for two fruity ones. I LOVE my tea, but I have to admit, this fruity one I'm drinking right now is really nice. Mr T delivered us too many kiwi fruits, so I'm gonna plough through that mountain in the next few days.

I thought valentines was gonna be rubbish, but it was acutally ok. The ex OH sent me a red rose, which was beautiful, but definitely think we are better off apart right now. Tell me, when is Mr RIGHT Avo gonna pop along.......????

    Well done Mr Tete!!!

I sinned pretty badly yesterday, which I feel a bit gutted about. Had cream sauce with dinner, plus a glass of coke, frozen yoghurt and 3.5 triple chocolate biscuits from Tesco at 130 calories EACH!!!

Bit annoyed with myself as I had largely weaned myself off my sugar addiction, and now I am craving sweets like mad. The good intentions were there with the frozen yoghurt but lack of control on the biscuit front :(

  • Lara it's always shocking how many calories biscuits have I think, if you have two biscuits with a cuppa you may as well just have a chocolate bar!
Just been looking at my calendar ... if I can lose 1lb per week I could be 9:10 by Easter, would be nice but seven weeks of diets!!!

    Hi there

Well, I've had another good week in terms of weightloss - another 3.5lbs lost :j In fact my online Weightwatchers says I'm losing it too quickly.....they won't be saying that in a couple of weeks cos I'm off to Cyprus next Monday!!!! I have to say that Easter will also be a struggle as I am a slave to Creme Eggs....and Easter Eggs.....and chocolate in general, really. I might try Dinah's tactic with the mini eggs if I get desperate (who said 'if' I mean 'when'). I've changed my target slightly, though, as I want to get down to a middle of the road healthy weight so I'm increasing what I want to lose to 3stone (or 42lbs ).

Oh well, here goes and good luck to everyone else xxx
Let's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:

  • Hey Guys!!

Well done to Mr Tete!!! And everyone on the weight loss!! I weighed myself this morning and I think I have lost another 2lbs. Unfortunately my OH had gone to work and I can't see the lines clearly but it sure looked like it to me.
Didn't do too badly last week, but the lovely M&S meal probably had about 2 days worth of calories in it. But I did a long shift on Saturday 14 hours of running around with no proper meals so i think I had Saturdays calories on Sunday to lol. Sounds good to me anyway!! Still I'm not really feeling much slimmer I still have a tummy on me. Apart from sit ups with somehow hurt my neck anyone got any nice tips on how to tone it up?

Having an at home day today so will do some dancing to my music as I clean, Emma's Housework Disco!!! I'm not buying mini eggs cos they're sooooo yummy and I seem to lose all self control over them :EasterBun

  • Hi LMMS, thanks! Well done on the, possible, weightloss! I always found swimming - breaststroke - brilliant for toning the tummy without real effort.

Had a sneaky weigh this morning and still at 10-3 despite last week's excesses so that was a relief, but.... IT'S PANCAKE DAY!!!!

Is everyone having pancakes??? I am, but I'm having a saintly salad for dinner!

  • I don't like pancakes, which I guess is a good thing. Will make a couple for OH. We're having roast chicken for tea. I'll do lots of veg and make stock from the bones.
I'll have to try swimming, cold weather puts me off the whole going out, getting cold and wet then coming home again lol.

So is anyone giving up anything for Lent?

No pancake for me either, I still haven't weight myself but I guess I'm the same. Back to the gym today, a gentle spinning class for me:o.
Breakfast today: oatbran flakes and yoghurt
lunch: tomato soup and frozen grapes:D
    dinner: easy jambalaya and oranges

Snacking on Kellogg's snack bites and breadsticks:rotfl:.
  • I know what you mean about the cold weather - you really have to force yourself but you feel good after!

Gentle spinning class? No such thing!

Hadn't thought about Lent ... hmm ... things that spring to mind that would be a challenge are: chocolate, crisps, coffee, alcohol ... I tried to give up bread last year but it was hard, whereas I hardly eat bread now that I'm watching my calories. What about everyone else?
