    I'm not really into the whole V-day thing think it's all a bit commercial and a con. I like to think OH loves me everyday not just 14th Feb. But OH loves it all and wanted to go out etc, still I don't mind, he's cooking the M&S dinner so i'm getting spoilt :D It's not diet friendly still, I did get a salad in the deal, and the pudding has fruit on the top ;)

    Well that is at least two of your five fruit and veg a day!!!!!

    Me, well it'll be a meal for one......newly single young lady! It always happens over valentines, I never have a boyfriend to treat me! Boo....!!!

  • Hi girls

    Must catch up with the thread.

    Well....I gave up weightwatchers last week to save money and I have had a terrible week (and was so depressed with my weight when I got on home scales/Wii balance board tonight that I ate a pack of Doritos:() - cos it says I have put on 1lb:cry::cry: It's only been a few days and I have gone totally to pot. It's like no-one is watching me so I will just sneak this, just eat that:eek::eek: I am truly a monster:eek::eek::eek:

    I am going back to WW this weekend. I can't go it alone when it comes to losing weight. The money will just have to counted in our essential spends each month.

    So - I have between now and reporting in to you lot on Monday to lose that 1lb again and be back where I was last Monday;)

    I'm back, gave myself enough time to feel sorry, I need to get rolling now. Will weigh myself on Monday again, expecting gain but that's ok, I will work on it next week. Went back to work on Wed, surprise surprise my boss is pregnant. I'm happy for her but not looking forward to all the baby talk yet. I have a dr follow up appointment on 1st March, I will ask him to do some test just to see if everything is ok with me to get pregnant in future.
  • Kavics, give yourself time and don't get too stressed as I'm sure that won't help, little steps taking each day as it comes. I'm glad you are going to see your doc, as they can do wonders at reassuring you and do lots of tests to see what's occuring down there. <<Big hugs>> xxx

  • Poddle - sorry I'm all confused by the front page! I thought from the original weight I put on here 11st 3lb I'd lost 10lbs now? But also what does STS mean?

    Made my big mean pan of soup yesterday so that's the healthy lunches sorted. Everything is going well except OH keeps buying my wispa golds mmm!

    STS = stay the same.

    I can't eat soup without lots of bread and it works out worse for me than a solid meal! Have a WW meal for lunch, had toast for breakfast, and I did an hour of yoga this morning (or my own special version as I couldn't do some bits that required my knee to cooporate, so I improvised!).

    Aw Kavics, that's such a tough situation to be in with your boss :( I hope you're starting to feel better and you get some help from the doctors so you can plan for the future. Take care x

    Argh, I think I've confused myself lMMS! I've updated now to show that you've lost 10/25 - i must have missed it when you posted originally, sorry!

    STS is for stayed the same. There are a lot of gaps as people are weighing in at different times or only just starting, but as soon as we're all in the swing of it I hope we'll see a super list of results!

    OMG Wispa golds and mini eggs are my kryptonite!! I thought they phased out Wispa golds again - WHERE ARE THEY?! Thank goodness for Easter :D

    I have a mini egg tactic now. I'm keeping them upstairs, then if I want them I have to go upstairs, which isn't comfortable and burns calories, and I can have one, then I come down again. If I want more, I have to go upstairs again, only ever getting one at a time. After 3 or 4 the effort just isn't worth it!

    Genius! :D I bought some the other day thinking I'll do what Dinah does and have 2 to fulfil my chocolate craving, but, um, it didn't quite work, so safer not to buy them at all. :(
