I gained a lb this week. Doesn't surprise me after going out for 3 meals and having a chinese....

Dinah - well done on your loss, you are doing fab.

I have doen my Pump It Up DVD this morning so feeling back on track now. Had a banana and a yoghurt for breakfast as well.

On a lady at works diet she is allowed as many teas or coffees that you want. I have hardly any milk in my tea and no sugar so I figure can't be too bad!
  • Tea with semi-skimmed milk is about 14 calories, fruit tea is about 8 and my coffee - with milk and one sugar, is abut 44 - so that's what I really need to cut down on :(

I can't get on with fruit teas - they're a twofold disappointment as they smell SO nice and it makes it worse when you actually taste them!

Can you cope without sugar in your coffee Tete? Sweetener?

I've just been looking at a way to record everyone's weight loss on page 1 - it's really simple, just: weight loss this week / total / target

I think it would get massively complex if I tried to include every week's weigh in and all mini targets etc, so if you have chance to take a quick look will you let me have any suggestions? Thanks!

  • Looks good to me, maybe put this week's weight loss in a different colour to make it stand out? Could you be cruel and use different colours for loss/STS/gain - ie. gains in red?! Perhaps not! I feel like I'm cheating a bit carrying mine on from last year, so it looks like I've lost 17lbs in the same time as other people have lost one or two :o

As for sugar in coffee, I've already gone down to one from two and don't know if I could go any further. I did try sweetener for a bit but they taste to weird, prefer to stick to tea than spoil my coffee!

I used to take sugar in my coffee but cut it out and now if someone puts sugar in it I can really taste it and it's not nice! I only cut it out around Christmas so it doesn't take long to adjust at all.

Says the girl who had 4 sips of fruit tea and deemed it 'Rubbish'!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

    Hi Girls,

I don't drink tea or coffee so no calories for me on that one. Though I'm rubbish with milk, have one glass in the morning and one in the evening (OH's stupid habit-which became mine). I have had so far Kellogs Cornflakes and yoghurt for breakfast, I made some vegetable rissoles for lunch (don't know if that's healthy or not, used only carrots, leeks, mushrooms, coergette but fried them in olive oil :) ). Dinner is going to be rice with tomato-prawn sauce. I've had a couple of galaxy squares, blaming my period (due in the next couple of days).

Dinah, well done on weight loss, you're doing very well!

I find fruit teas too strong sometimes - maybe don't leave the teabag in too long. I have been drinking camomile, peppermint and green teas and they're really nice :)

  • Hi, hope everyone had a good day. The list looks good to me too, but I lost 1 1/2 lbs last week which brings me to 5 1/2 lost to date. Can't remember if I posted my loss last week, so I'm sorry if I forgot.

I've managed to stick to the diet today, the only blip was the two chocolates I found inside one of my handbags.

I have noticed something odd though...........every time I eat a WW chicken tikka masala, I come out in red blotches, so I must be allergic to something in the recipe!

  • Gargh! Work is so stressy at the minute, I'm being constantly pulled in all directions, I decided I would treat myself to a chocolate bar as I was heading out for lunch, but luckily by the time I reached the vending machine my resolve had returned so I just went and got my jacket potato and a diet coke as a sweet treat. I'm quite proud of myself for that, I'm sure I'll feel better once I've finished my dinner anyway.

Deep breath. How is everyone today? What are we all eating? I'm having jacket potato with prawns, had three coffees prior to that. Thinking about boiled eggs and ryvita 'soldiers' for tea...

Ugh, poor Tete! I find work is always a potential diet saboteur in one way or another! Well done for resisting the chocolate :) you'll feel good about it on weigh in day!

I've only had a cup of tea and a bowl of Start (love it!) today - I've been unusually busy this morning so haven't had chance to snack. Off to Tesco at lunch to pick up some sushi or soup for lunch and ingredients for fajitas tonight as the girls are coming over. Your boiled egg and soldiers sounds yum! x
