Oh dear Tete, no-one wants to think about parents 'at it'!
How much willpower do you have not to have Pizza in The Hut?! All reason goes out of my head when I'm in there!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Gosh, you're all doing so well!
Not doing so well on the diet today. I was sat in the Office ready for my slimfast + fruit lunch and my brother and dad came and sat in my office to have their dinner. Evil! I told them to get out but they wouldn't budge so I had 1/4 of my brothers bacon sandwich. Hmph. Having a sugar low atm though so I'm going to have a coffee and the smallest biscuit from the selection box in the kitchen. Smallest, I promise!
Going to my Grans before I go home tonight though which = offerings of Cola and Kitkats. They have a bowl of wrapped chocolates on the dining room table too which my Grandad bullies me into eating. Actually bullies and pesters until I have one I swear!
Tea tonight is bangers and mash, but I'm having quorn sausages instead of meat and not having any gravy. So I'll bring it round, going to do some form of exercise tonight too. Just not 100% sure what.
Jealous of your Pizza Hut Tete!0 -
That's a good idea about the quorn sausages Cinny, I might try and get some in! I know what you mean about grandparents making you fat - mine bought one of those massive tins of Quality Street for me because they were a January bargain - needless to say that's almost gone now (apart from the toffee pennies), and last time I saw her she announced she'd got me another one for my birthday! Gah!
Birdie, when we have a 50% voucher Oh gets it into his head that he's having a large Cheesy Bites to himself so I'd have to get a full pizza to myself if I wanted one. Pasta is nice though and I feel very virtuous after it!
Did I read something further up that each 3500 extra calories burned or not eaten equals one lb lost? So that only means cutting down by 500 every day, so taking in say 1300, to lose a pound a week - that doesn't seem too strenuous!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
When you put it like that Tete it seems OK. I just looked at it and thought 'How the heck do I burn 3500 calories?!'
And how does your OH manage a whole Cheesy Bites pizza to himself?!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

That explains it, but Birdie's right - you must have some of Dinah's iron willpower! Mmm, pizza goo...
How do you mean close to the bone - because of your parents? Haha, do you think they're at it all the time now?! (sorry) When's their wedding, or was it ages ago?
Ew, I hope not! But the storyline does bear resemblance to my life in parts - thank god my mum's never turned up to my house stoned! Sorry if that's a spoiler! I *love* Meryl Streep. Brilliant.Oh dear Tete, no-one wants to think about parents 'at it'!

I had those ones the other day! They were really scrummy. I like their plain ones most though, think they're only 47cals each.
Ooof, thinking of veggie food I used to LOVE the Linda McCartney sausage rolls. Yumm! I think they're 140 calories each?? & that's pretty good to say normal sauage rolls are double that.0 -
