Okey, today has been so far so good. Kellogs cornflakes for breakfast with activia yoghurt, lunch has been one sandwich and dinner will be the same as yesterday:). Had 4 jaffa cakes (2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon), and won't have any pudding later on. No gym tonight either, need to concentrate on studying.0

Hey, well done on the loss, Tete!
And well done for staying on track PA and kavics!
Ruth, it sounds to me like you eat pretty healthily - I'm not an expert though, so maybe Dinah's right and you're not actually eating enough? It might be worth keeping a thorough food diary for a few days and working out your calorie consumption precisely to see if it's what you think it is. It definitely doesn't sound like you should be putting on weight unless that's another symptom of enzyme deficiency?
I'm cautiously optimistic that my weight gain from holiday (affectionately known as 'my African baby') isn't *entirely* my fault - I started a new pill at the beginning of December and the doc warned me it often makes people put on weight and it's nearly TOTM too. I'm not just making excuses - the lbs need to be shifted either way, but it makes me feel slightly less gluttonous!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Evening everyone
Well, one week down and it's been quite good in that writing down everything I've eaten is keeping me focused. I tend to have cereal or porridge for breakfast so start by only using a few points. We went out for a nice meal the other night with friends so I saved up 4 points a day during the week as I could on the discover plan. The good news is I lost 1lb :T but I had hoped to lose more:mad: Oh well, it's a start.
I haven't been on the treadmill since the flying puppy incident but am taking my nephew out tomorrow so will be pushing him around (he's in Selly Oak after being badly injured in Afghanistan - I don't mean I'm being the dominant female!). The bad news is we're going to Cadbury World :eek:Let's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:Virgin CC £9793.710 -
Oh I think a little bit of Cadbury World will be offset by pushing your strapping nephew about..!
(I really shouldn't be on a diet!)
I laughed at your African Baby Poddle, but are you sure it's not....??Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Well done Pilchard! I'm with Tete, I don't think Cadbury World will do you too much harm and it sounds like you both deserve a bit of a treat.Tete_en_l'Air wrote: »Oh I think a little bit of Cadbury World will be offset by pushing your strapping nephew about..!

Lol, I'm 100% sure thank you! But *note to self* must not refer to it again in the presence of my mother  Luckily she still perceives me as 15 and would be horrified if I got preggers, which is much better than her pestering me for grandchildren all the time!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Haha, that's how I would feel if it happened to me, I feel it should be a scandal but actually I'm quite old
I've been working out my calories for the day on food focus and despite another trip to Pizza Hut later (hey we've got loads of vouchers to use up!) I'm only about 47 over my target, and even then it's only about 1050 for the whole day. My downfall is when OH starts demanding desserts, I'll have to demand misc aerobics in exchange to offset the extra calories!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Excellent idea! and I'm sure your OH won't mind you 'demanding' the old aerobics...
That's a super good daily total, especially as you've snuck in more pizza! Enjoy!
We're going to the cinema tonight (The Road, can't wait!) so I'm going to smuggle in a bottle of water and maybe a bag of French Fries - wild I know! I saw It's Complicated the other day - it was enjoyable enough, although a bit close to the bone in my case and nobody needs to see that much of Alec Baldwin. Ugh.LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Hi Everyone,
Today I've had Kellogs Cornflakes and yoghurt for breakfast, muller rice for lunch and as for snack I just grated an apple, put some cinnamon over and ate it with pleasure:). Tonight is rice with prawn jalfrezi and broccoli, plus I supposed to go to the gym for spinning class.
Tete,I like the idea of aerobics as well.

Ooh Kavics, you have an exotic sounding diet!
Poddle, I'm not having pizza, I'm having the lowest cal option of the tomato pasta bake with 'hidden veggies', but I will be having some of the chicken strips with sour cream - nomnomnom!!
How do you mean close to the bone - because of your parents? Haha, do you think they're at it all the time now?! (sorry) When's their wedding, or was it ages ago?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
