Reported! Thanks for the bullying guys! Maybe try and get a life in 2010 yes? I am absolutely disgusted with this part of the forum and it amazes me how confident and vile people are when they are hidden behind a computer screen.
Absolutely pathetic and vile! People like you, spoil this website. Please read the forum ettiquette and get a life! I came here for advice and got slaughtered. I don't know why you chose to have a problem with me but your attitudes are an absolute disgrace.
I can imagine you all, checking back here, waiting for a reply from me...and will spend the rest of the day trying to make it much worse. Maybe if you got a job or found something constructive to do with your lives, you wouldn't take pleasure in bullying a 25 year old student who was genuienly looking for help.
Get a grip guys...and try and live life in the real world...not starting wars from behind the safety of your computer screens.0 -
Natalie, Good luck please let us know how it all pans out, I genuinely hope you get the apology you deserve!Knowledge is often mistaken for intelligence. This is like mistaking a cup of milk for the whole cow.0

Natalie_Clapp wrote: »Hi there, I really need help [STRIKE]concerning a matter that happened last tuesday. 12/01/10. To cut a long story short, i was wrongly accused of fraud in my local abbey/santander branch. Both my accounts were closed (leaving me with no bank account) i was told of the suspect fraud in the public vicinity of the branch (not in a private room) and was told that i was no longer to bank with them. I was highly upset obviously. Later, on the phone...they admitted a serious error had occured on their part and they reinstated my 2 cards and put an amount of money into one of them as a good will gesture (i didnt ask them to or agree to do this...they informed me after they had done this) I will not touch the money and have written a letter to them this morning (finally feel up to it) I am emotionally fragile at the mo and am devastated about this. A solicitor has advised to write first of all but can anyone advise me of anything else i can do. I can send people a copy of the letter if they wish on request. Shall I contact the press? not sure what to do.
Thanks in advance

But do try not to let a few posts affect you or get to you in such a way, simply click on "ignore" to anyone you feel is being uncivil. On a latter note I hope you get this matter resolved, ensure it is offered just as publicly as it was given to youGood Luck!!!!!

This is, in essence, switching bank accounts though, which quite a lot of people will have done.
Although, you do say "reinstated", so you presumably have the same account numbers. You were out of bank account for what?
A few hours?
And they have apologised, with cash.
Sorry, but I think you need to get a little perspective here.
BTW, your attitude to the members of this forum has been hardly angelic so i don't think you have much room to complain. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. OP how much did you actually receive from the back as a apology as you havent said and I wondered if you have been able to check yet ?
I can understand it was embarassing but they have reinstated your accounts, apologised and given you some form of goodwill gesture i am not sure what else they can do really?
If it bothering you this much open accounts and bank elsewhere.
