am i the only one that thinks this is a disgrace?? to be accused of any crime is surely a police matter, not a case for some jumped up bank manager to do, secondly its in front of other people.
I can save the young lady her bus fare to the nick, it is certainly not a police matter. :D

quote)lol...not looking for millions lol! I'm quite enjoying my masters degree anyway!)
. People seem to be ignoring the fact that they have no told me how much has been put in one account as a good will gesture...it was put in before I agreed to it and do not find it sufficient to apologise for their error.

so you dont know how much they have put in(could be a few grand)

your not looking for millions, good job you wont get it

I think you have been watching too much american telly, get real, grow up,a mistake was made, they have apologised and given you a bit of money,

you will probably end up needing a few grand to buy enough 'rennie' to counteract all that bile that is building up inside you

Welcome to the show Natalie, take a seat.
It could be Clapptrap Jeeza ;) Ideal for your show. :D

One of my sergeant's sons was apprehended by an over zealous store detective in a major supermarket taken to the manager's office and searched, the lad had done nothing wrong.

His dad got onto one of the local solicitors and got £500 compensation within a week and I would think the solicitor got at least the same for his services.

    Oh god

I hate all this stupid political correctness that exists in our society at the moment.

They made a mistake, they apologised and put money in your account.

What more do you want from them exactly ?

I would insist the apology is made via a P.A system or a megaphone (not discreetly via a private phone call) that theypublicly announce this at the busiest time of day, then take the money, PUBLICLY tell them you wish to shut the account, and go elsewhere.

Nothing short of banners across the high street would do for me.
