Thanks. I am not asking for sympathy, I am going to take everything that will be given to me, I just needed some advice thats all.

Thanks for the reply, As i have stated i will probably get the worse end of this. My MIL has stated that she will do what it takes to keep her job and home. If i dont go to the police she will today.

As far as my wife goes, she knows what has happened i told her last night before asking for some advice. I know i am going to get shouted at and called a criminal which is what i deserve because i signed it and no one else

Yes i am helping him but i think he means his side of the familyy

So you signed as a witness to something you didn't actually witness? Oh dear that was a bit silly wasn't it - Go to the police, tell them everything, if you have a history of mental illness you can get a something from your GP stating this. MIL you say? what family will you lose and why? If you other half will leave you because of something their mother tricked you into then quite frankly not much of an other half are they?

Thank you everyone for all the comments. The have been appreciated. He has gone and done the right thing. I have vowed never to speak to my mother any more as she knows how vunrable my DH is

That is exactly what has happened. As said before this is no wind up. Its about time she gets what she deserves!
