((((HUGS)))) Smashing blouse,
Churchmouse - its terrible these days how some people bring up their children, i hope its just a one off because of the heat.
Well, we have had a lovely day doing not a lot!!!!! Went to Dartmoor for a few hours with a picnic and the childrens bikes. They had a great time and i had some peace and sat in the sun and read a book!!! Stopped off at Tescos on the way home, didnt find many bargains but i shouldnt need to go shopping again for a while. Got home, and cooked a lovely roast lamb, with onion and port gravy. Going to get DS and DD in the bath now, and then have a bath myself. Hoping to have an early night as well, as this weekend of doing nothing has really tierd me out!!!!
Hope everyone has a good evening
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Catowen, I'm afraid it's not the first time I've heard them shouting at him, but it's never been like today before. They do seem to use bad language ever such a lot to him, yet they'll probably be shocked when he uses it back at them!!
Anyway all is quiet now so I hope he sleeps right through for his own sake as much as theirs. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -

(((((HUGS))))) Smashing Blouse
Had a very productive day today went shopping this morning and as well as the shopping I picked up tow winter coats from the Next clearance store both £10 each:D .
I've done all the ironingwhich I've been putting off, so took 2.5hrs to complete . I've also cleaned the living room and kitchen as well as made my banana bread and a batch of spag bol as Ds was complaining he has not had it for a while.
DD and DS have finally made friends in our road it has been hard the last couple of month as when we moved I decided to put them in the best school in the area and no the closest. This had the knock on effect of them finding it hard to make friends and for the last 5mths they've only had each other and they have fought like cat and dog.
Off now to watch what women want.GC: £400/ £00 -
hugs to smashing blouse. It really is a blessing that she went quick and didn't have her suffering prolonged. That's how i felt anyway when my grandma died.
I am still doing school work. Darn being such a perfectionist. I am trying to write a set of 9 lessons for next year. I'm part way through number 5. It is killing me. I have been on since about 12 when DH left, and i have barely stopped all day, even to eat. I grabbed a quick sarnie for lunch, and then a bowl of cereal for dinner. I also have to prepare for a meeting for tomorow with the Headmaster, and also plan my lessons. Darn weekends. where do they go. Luckily, i have probably got a bit more work in me, but i will also want a bath, and could do with doing some ironing so i don't look a scruff in the meeting.
All i can say is roll on the next 5 get ups, and then i can know what it is to be a human being and not a human doing again. I might also be less whingey which i hate doing.
Best go and get on again.

Good Evening All
((((SmashingBlouse))))
Not been on for a couple of days - children had a non pupil day Friday and we went out for the day and then went straight to our caraven. Had quite relaxing weekend which was needed all round. Since I have been home have done all the ironing but need to do loads of washing tomorrow.
Off to bed in a min even though have been snoozing on a chair most of the day. Just been trying to write my menu plan for this week but the thought of the very hot weather to come is making it hard - oh well will see how we go.
Enjoy the rest of the evening.0 -
