Hi all! Happy Sunday.. The computer is playing up a bit so I may find this reply gets lost, but we'll see!

SnowyOwl - I'm glad Twink suggested your thyroid may be misbehaving, as I was going to suggest the same thing! I think it can be hereditary. Or you could be low on iron?

P-P - hope you are feeling a bit better this afternoon! Glad your OH enjoyed his birthday. Thanks for mentioning the Dartford NEXT outlet, I hadn't known about it till then! We went to have a look and I got 2 much-needed jumpers (well I don't need them NOW, but will in the Autumn!) for £4 each.:j

Bargain Rzl - hope you enjoyed last night's concert and managed to stay awake on the way home:p

Bargain Rzl, Penny-Pincher, Churchmouse and Katgoddess in case you don't know, there's now a "Sportsworld" outlet at Crayford (in the Tower retail park, next to Pets at Home.) DS got himself a posh pair of trainers for £10.49 yesterday, so thought I'd just mention it!

Moggins - so glad to hear Chloe is better! And LOL about that party!:rotfl:

Aussielass - your DGS sounds a sweetie, but hope your ex-DIL turned up to collect him in the end!

Smashing Blouse so sorry to hear the news (((HUGS)))

I can't help envying those of you living near Dartmoor! Still, we've at least got a garden.

I bought us a year's joint membership of the National Trust in February, with the idea of lots of money-saving days out. Just realised that for various reasons we've only used it once so far! Actually we did try to use it a second time - we took DD1 out with us as she loves getting out into the country, and we were planning to visit a house called "Steadmans" on the edge of East Grinstead. Something went wrong somewhere(including a seven-mile tailback caused by two BT vans!) and we couldn't find our way to the place at all. On the map it doesn't seem to be anywhere near a road at all. Does anyone know whether you have to go right into East Grinstead to pick up the signs for Steadmans? Have to fit in some more visits asap to get value out of the membership cost before all the NT places close for the Winter!

    Hugs to everyone

    Afternoon Peeps

Had lunch/dinner about 2 hours ago and cant believe how chicken we have left. It was delish too!! For all 3 of us we only had 1 breast, so theres the other breast and 2 big legs, so that should do a pie and a couple of round of sarnies! This was the fresh chicken from Waitrose we bought yesterday. It was £3.98 as they have 20% off ATM-definitly will buy again. Rest of lunch was lovely too.

OH & DD are at the train show and should be back soon with the family.

Just looked at the weather and its going to be 30-34c all week:eek:

Supper later I think will be a concoction of salad items, chicken, ham, HM quiche left, HM potatoe salad and coleslaw. All needs using up:D.....not sure if the family will be eating here...probably not after what I ahve to say;) :p

Have listed another 2 items on Ebay and have read some of my coursework for the next essay. Mum and dad went to Belgium yesterday and have bought OH some booze-so he'll be happy!

Anyway, Id best go and put kettle on.

    Laters!
