    Hello everyone!

It's been a lovely sunny day today, not that I saw much of it, having been such a lazy slob just lying around. what is wrong with me...I don't know, but it seems I have been overcome by lethargy for ages now. I've started taking a multi-vitamin/mineral supplement, so hope that that will help. Just feel like sleeping all the time...but then of course when it's a weekday I don't.

Manicdays, I hate to do this to you but I once met Morten Harket and the other two from aha. I kid you not. This occurred in Heathrow airport a looong time ago - I was there to see off some friends, and we were having a nice cup of coffee when I clocked these three gorgeous looking impeccably well-dressed incredibly sexy men. I finally worked out who they were and went over and got their autographs. The autographs were given to a friend in Ireland who was crazy about them. They were utterly charming, I would have been happy to take any one of them home with me, but alas they got on a plane and went away. C'est la vie! I've been v.lucky with the celebs I've clocked over the years - everyone from Maeve Binchy, a-ha, Ian Beale, Bianca, Dustin Hoffman, to the Queen and Princess Di to name but a few.

BargainRzl...I am keeping my fingers, toes, eyes and legs crossed for you that the flat works out. It'd be so fantastic for you to get onto the property ladder ahead of schedule. It all looks promising, so let's hope it works out for you.

Little secret everyone - I am slighted pished. Have been nipping at the Chardonnay and it's lovely, but going straight to my head.

Happy birthday to Mr PP - hope the PennyPincher household enjoys the film and chocolate tonight.

    All the best.

    Good morning everybody!

Can't quite believe I'm starting the thread! Wouldn't you know I've nothing really to report except I'm just off for my shower and it's going to be another hot day today.

Enjoy your Sundays ....... back later.:D

All showered and fresh, so now I'm going out to attack my overgrown garden before it gets too hot!! Methinks I've done that the wrong way round!!

    Morning Guys

Had an unsettled night last night and feel very tired, so am not doing too much today.

WM is on and will be hung out in the glorious sunshine:D DW wont need going on till later. Toilet is cleaned. House pretty clean and tidy.

OH has peeled the spuds, carrots and cut the cauliflower up for me. Chicken will be going in about 10.00, and will probably have lunch early today and have the leftover chicken for a salad later. Chicken is one we bought from Waitrose some am looking forward to tasting for comparison on the normal ones I get from Asda.

One of our friends has a train show this afternoon locally, so OH and DD are going to that for an hour or so, then we have BIL/SIL coming back for a coffee. Havent seen them in a few weeks as BIL did something to offend me quite badly and I really need to talk to him about it and let him know how he has left me feeling. Nothing offends me much and my only exception is when young kids are involved-this is something I strongly believe in. Wish me luck:D

Listed a couple more books on Amazon, so fingers x'd they should be sold soon. Have many watchers on Ebay items but they still have another week to go.

Think OH had a good birthday yesterday. We watched Men Of Honour with Robert De Niro and forgot it was such a great film! Paying only £2 for it, made it more appealing and would probably watch it again. DD got back about 10pm:eek:

DD's friends mum gave DD £5 as with all the other girls and they all had some money each that they bought themselves. My DD didnt buy anything and came home £5 richer and had a Burger King bought for her, but she enjoyed trying on all the clothes etc. All the others were buying matching bras and knickers (they are 11-12:eek: )....dd is a true money saver now and is putting all her dosh into her new bank account:rolleyes:

Anyway, Ive got to go as DD wants her hair straightened for later, my hands arent too bad today so will do it for her rather than OH "coz I do it properly!":p ;):D

Breakie: Strawberries and greek yogurt with honey
Lunch:R Chicken, Roasties, Yorkies, Cauli, Carrots, Peas, and gravy
    Dinner/Supper: Leftover Chicken/Salad/Potato salad

    Hugs to all.

    PP

    Morning all

PP sorry to hear you didn't have a good night, I hope your day improves.

Lisa - I finally confessed to DH this year about what happened at the party and would you know the wretch laughed at me!! All that time I have been petrified he'd find out and he actually laughed!!

Busy day in the house of mogs, the place is a wreck and I really need to do some housework, DS is going to an air display with his dad and DD has a birthday party to go to, I must hunt out the invitation as I can't remember what time it is. I have washing to get out on the line and more to do. Uniforms to iron for the last time before the hols etc etc.

I finally finished reading my Kathy Reichs book this morning in bed, I now have Grave Secrets to start so I want to get that read before the kids break up.

I forgot to get the joint out for tea tonight so I guess that will be doing a rapid thaw in the microwave this morning too :D

Morning all......((((((HUGS)))))))))))) to those who need them......

Very bright sunny morning, I ad another bad night, woke at 1.30, still reading at 5am, then fell asleep until OH got up just after 8am....

Nothing really planned after my busy day yesterday, think I will get on with the bag thats waiting to be stitched on the table in my sewing room, will have to strat a box for craft show stuff. I found two boxes of wooden stuff to paint when I was clearing out yesterday, was going to boot sale them, but then decided they might do better at the craft fair, we bought them back from the US after OH's cousin died, he was going to paint them but never got round to doing it, I also found some little galvanised buckets and various other bits and pieces.......

Roast chicken tonight, think I'll do it in the convection micro, the kitchen will not get so hot if I use that.........we are still eating strawberries from the garden, about finished, but they have done very well..... we are setting runners for another bed at the allotment. The plants have been in for 3 years so need to be dug up now........

Right off for a coffee in the garden before I start sewing, have a load of towels to hang out.
