I'm good at partying
It's just smoking strange tobacco that doesn't suit me
I shall stick to alcohol from now on
Due to being oldstyle I no longer fit on the particular forum that party evolved from.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Moggins ended up smoking something she shouldn't (never before and never again), fell asleep, got put to bed and ended up losing 3 hours of a really good party
Manicdays spent the next morning taking the mick!! Apparently I was on great form and really funny but I don't remember any of it

Hi all
I don't often post but try to read the messages most days.
I work for a school & we break up on Friday, I was hoping to temp during the holiday, but I have to work five days during the summer break & they have given me every Wednesday! So not sure what to do now.
Found out yesterday that my ex husband was dragged screaming up the alter again last Friday, the wedding cost £20k had a butterfly theme & the happy couple are honeymooning in Ayanapa (sp). It all seems a bit over the top for a couple who are over 50, lol! Still thats just me being !!!!!y. I just glad to see someone has made him spend mony, lol.
Hope everyone has a lovely day, hugs to all who need one.

Hi there Hardup Hester
What meanies making you work five wednesdays! There must be a reason behind this decision, but it would have been nice of them to enlighten you with it. Could you go back to them and ask if you could work an entire week or work either Mondays or Fridays? You never know though, you perhaps might find a temp job that allows you to take the Wednesdays off.
You made me smile about your exH. Of course there is no such thing as male-menopause! Butterflies indeed....
Welcome to the boards, it'd be lovely to see you here on a regular basis.

Afternoon all :hello: :grouphug: to all
Not much to report here except OH got up at 7am and has done ALL the ironing, including things he hates ironing :j:j:j Aparently DD woke him up coughing and due to it being so light he couldn't get back to sleep so he watched 2 DVDs and did all the ironing for me.He also put the dishes he washed yesterday away. :j He just gone up for a bath & to get dressed then he'll probably carry on with the washing up.
As for me, I've stripped DD's bed with her (she's taken to sleeping on the floor as she says its more comfortable than her bed), put the ironing away, pulled out DD's winter uniform and sorted it out so the stuff thats still wearable can go into school for their spare uniform box, put the winter coats & OH's shirts/smart pants/ties in DD's wardrobe as they won't be needed until September :j Also I've washed DDs bedding which can go out now as it's just finished.
Still to do- wash masterbedding (changed it yesterday)
- livingroom floor needs hoovering & mopping
- Kitchen floor needs [strike]a miracle[/strike] cleaning
- dishes
- Dinner - chicken kievs, roast potatoes (ready-made ones from Nans freezer and veg. Think I might make a jelly as well to have with cream for pudding
- Packed lunches to make for tomorrow
- Craft projects with DD for teachers gifts (she's looking through some craftbooks as I type) - after she's watched Batman Subzero with her
Best get on with things I suppose. Later :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Hi Snowy
The reason I got all the wednesdays was, I was given all the leftover days nobody else could cover, next year I'll have more seniority & may get to choose my days.

Afternoon all
Just put another load on the line and another load in WM - when will it end? SC is on with a free-range chicken (reduced price) and I'll put the BM on shortly. Even got DS1 to tidy his room so I could vac it this morning (only room I didn't do yeterday) and despite it taking 2 hours and 4 attempts to 'persuade' him, he did a good job in the end
It's absolutely scorching out there. I could feel my skin frying and I was only hanging washing out. Have slathered the boys from top to toe in factor 40 and made them wear hats and t-shirts, even though Mr TM is cleaning and refilling the paddling pool. Luckily their play area is under some trees so it's not too bad. I also want Mr TM to put up a bracket for the hanging basket mum gave me soon, too. Grass has been cut and paths sewpt so it looks nice and tidy out there now. I'll leave the weeding till another day cos I can't cope with all this sun (even with factor 40!)
I have to take DS1 for his final swimming lesson later and have to go to mum's and move her ornaments/furniture etc so the decorator can get on next week. I'll have my tea later cos I want roasties and veg too, but as I won't be back until after 6, I may have to serve everyon else's early (Mr TM CAN'T be expected to wait that long, he'll surely die of starvation :rotfl:)
Right, I may go and sort DS2's black out blind now - I can stay out of the sun that way. It will only have taken me 2 summers :0 Maybe he'll go to sleep earlier then as well!
Hope everyone's having a good day and as it seems to be a day for chicken, hope you all have a good sunday tea too
TM xxx
PS Glad to see you posting again MATH and we'll miss your wit and charm when you open up Chez MATH II for the summer:)0 -
Hi all,
Just to let you know that my nan died at 11.30 last night. It was her birthday so a nice day to go. They said she was very peaceful.
Woke up this morning feeling ok, I think the relief that she is in no more pain helps.
Trying to do normal things now so after picking up her belongings we went car booting. Came away with a new Next fully lined skirt £4, a music stand for dd10 £2.50,, roller skates for dd £2 and a clothes rack for £2, so well happy with those.
Off to a BBQ in a bit. I still need to tell dd that her nanny has died, she is in Aldeshot in a band competition which she was so excited about, so couldn't tell her this morning.
Thanks again everyone for your support.0
