    Good morning everyone,

Moggins (((HUGS))) for yesterday, hope your results come through quickly and put your mind at ease x

Was expecting a nice sunny day today, but its cloudy and looks like it rained over night  Never mind, only have one little one here today, so hoping for a quiet day.

My friend and i tried colouring my hair last night :o , but it hasnt turned out quite how id hoped, so think i will pop into town again and pick up another colour to go on top of it. The one last night was meant to be highlights, but its kind of one colour on top, and a darker colour underneath, and this morning it looks a bit strange, funny how things look much nicer when you have had a couple of glasses of wine  (prob why it turned out funny as well!!!!). Mind you, we had a laugh doing it!!!!

Well, better go and try and get DD out of bed, hope everyone has a lovely day
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Morning all

ageandjo thanks for the laugh, the bigger they are the dafter they seem to be :D

DH goes to work tonight :D He wasn't supposed to be back until Saturday but they've asked him in for some overtime.

I've had a long think about some things last night and I've decided not to have my breast reconstruction done after all. I wasn't having it done for the right reasons, and I don't fancy the idea of three more operations just to make me look nice with my clothes off :D I have more important things in my life to worry about than that.

I'm also getting really annoyed at how selfish DH is getting. I quit smoking because we really cannot afford for 2 of us to smoke anymore. He immediately goes out and buys a second hand ipod for £60, that would have been three weeks fags! I'm beginning to feel resentful and frustrated about quitting as I don't see why I should sacrifice the one bad habit I had just so he can go and buy more toys :(

Morning everyone and all those to follow!

Beautiful day here, though will be at w**k for most so OS opportunities come later....

Getting to grips with packed lunches for work and now have 'supplies' in the office that are healthier and cheaper than buying sandwiches from the mobile van that comes round - they also have lovely cakes and chocs on board that I just don't seem to be able to resist........ On hols in GReece recently got me into GReek yog with honey - never been a honey lover before but really into this now. Have muesli at work, take in fruit to chop into it, then finish off with yog (yet to bring in honey!)

Went to a fashion show last night, so as far removed from meney saving as you can get, but had a great night out with 'the girls' from work.

Have been reading the stuff about listing items on Ebay and Amazon with interest as I have a potential library for sale. So, will look at the pages about listing and see about making some room and some cash. Any tips?!?!?

Morning all :hello: I was going to start this thread last night since I was up until 12.45 doing stuff but decided not to reboot the computer as I knew I'd be up until 1am if I came on here :rotfl:

Woke up at 6.20 this morning:confused: Didn't stop me laying in bed until 6.45 though :D So far this morning wash down (can't have a bath as OH has a bath every morning and our emersion heater isn't that good  ) , hair washed, dressed, DD & me both fed and I'm about to go scrub her face.

Plans for today are to go shopping this morning at Asda before it gets too warm (List is : Milk, cheese, apples, bananas, citrus, bodyspray for OH, 2 sliced loaves :j ), 1 or 2 wash loads, dishes, bless the house and do some paperwork as my "to-do file" is bursting  Also read through this thread properly ;)

Best go scrub DD's face before she covers the bathroom in toothpaste again  Laters

    Morning!
DD has gone for an overnight stay with the 6th form at a uni today.
OH has taken her up to the school in the car.
She waited right until about 20 mins to go to produce a list of stuff to take:mad:
Im waiting for 2 deliveries today, the last of DS's new A level books from ebay and my new sewing machine.
DS produced the list of new books he would need last week and when I priced them up with Amazon, they were £44 second hand or £38 new(free delivery).I managed to track down the shakespeare in the local charity shop and two of the others via ebay so only had to buy 1 new and it was £16.10 on Amazon so got free delivery after all.The lot came to £26.
They expect them to buy their own books with their EMA but he uses it for other supplies(paper, pens, chocolate etc) . Would you buy your works materials for them with 2 whole weeks wages?
I harvested an Aubergine,4 courgettes ,2 peppers and some calabrese yesterday so with a homegrown onion and some mince and a tin of toms and cheese we had quite an interesting tea. Even DS enjoyed it and suggested rice as an accompaniment next time we have it.
Well better go and get on with stuff.
    all the best everyone

    Happy birthday Smashing Blouse :j

Moggins - I think I'd probably accidently drop said Ipod into the bath......ooooopss - silly me! ;)

Queenie - Those cushions do sound too good to pass up - especially if you're getting some decent beads for another project into the bargin.

PP - hope OH feels better this morning.

Hugs to all who fancy or need one.

A very quite start here - not working until Monday :j and have the whole day spread infront of me...apart from shoving some washing on the line in a mo when it finishes, I'm not going to clean a thing today - the washing up's been done, the beds are airing and the house is generally tidy...I'm going to have a craft day - I've got several cards to make, I want to start making a scrapbook for my Mum's birthday in October and I've got 2 dvd's with my name on.

I might even venture out for a sit in the sun at some point with a book and some lemon juice on my hair to help lighten it a bit.

Some days these things just have to be done!

Dinner will be HM vegetable pies from the freezer with mixed veg mash (normal potato, sweet potato, parsnip and carrot) also in the freezer and fresh runner beans and carrots.

Hope you all have a wonderous day.

Morning. Once again a good nights sleep for me. Doubt it will last too much longer, but I will take advantage whilst I can. I can feel bean wriggling around, but its actually a comfort and helps me settle at the moment.

Checked my bank account this morning and it was a bit less that I thought it should be. I've also spent a bit too much on the old credit card (don't worry its paid off in full). So I'm going to have to be good for the next month or so. However, I do have 4 birthdays coming up so that's a good reason (all sorted naturally). I should also have a decent amount of expenses going through in the next few days which should put things back to a decent state of play for my week off work.

We'll have the girls down for that week and most of our trip tickets have already been bought or paid for. Probably will have the odd cinema trip, meal out and of course fuel to pay for so it shouldn't be too bad. Of course I can always steal a bit from my grocery savings fund if needs be, and OH will be around...so I'm not paying for everything on my own.

Planning to have another good look round the sales. Already have plenty put to one side for Xmas, but want to get as much as possible organised now before been puts in an appearance in November / December. Right now I'm missing one birthday present and 4.5 Xmas presents. Already have plenty for the girls, so I'm not too worried about them.

Tea is sausages with something....ie, whatever OH fancies when he gets home.
Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.

Happy Birthday Smashing Blouse. Have a lovely day

    Manic days - shame about a-ha, I'm sure you'll find a way ;)

PP - spelling tests, I remember those! It seems like most of my work colleagues never did them at school because their spelling is atrocious!

ageandjo - he looks such a cutie, you can't be cross with him for long!

Queenie - £3 feather cushions is a bargain, you'd pay that for a lumpy old synthetic one.

cha97michelle - enjoy the night out, if you get that far, your day sounds exhausting!

twink - gooseberries - mmmm, crumble!

Snowyowl - enjoy the holiday. Flylady can wait for another day

catowen - oops! hair dye + wine = bad combination. I speak from experience.............

moggins - (hug). As long as you're happy with your decision then you're doing the right theing. Good for you.

jan59 - why is it that the yoghurt & honey taste nicer in Greece than they do over here?

nicki - I take it you've got water today then?

culpepper - well done on your bargains!

Chuchmouse - I've gone one better than you, I'm dressed ;). But that's all

Chipps - quick one from you - morning

Pooky - yes, done the lemon juice in the hair thing too! Just seems to attact wasps tho.

Hello to everyone I cross posted with, and hope I've not left anyone out.

Not much planned today, got to go to a meeting on the Wirral, so might just pop into Cheshire oaks on the way home. I also need a Costco trip at some point this week.
Pasta Primavera for dinner, as requested by OH, so he can make it!
