Morning Hun! Hello to all that follows:D

Bad night here as OH not been too good and have been very frustrated that I cant run around after him as he does me when im not well:mad: So, it looks like the hospital visit will be off today:j as OH is too tired, especially for london traffic!

WM is on and will be hung hopefully outside. DW will be on at about lunchtime and toilet has been cleaned. House is pretty tidy.
Managed to list 12 items and have about another 35 to go for Ebay today:eek: Sorted through some clothes last night and had many with labels still on them from yonks ago that are way to big for me now-should get my money back though. DD also sorted out some clothes and has a few beautiful wedding type dresses that no longer fit her which were bought from either Monsoon or american boutiques when we were over there last.

OH was please with his quiche last night and thanks for the nice comments. Think he is doing some more baking over the weekend:rolleyes:

DD's packed lunch is done and school bag already. She has some tests today on spelling which she should do ok on. I have a few calls to make and letters to write.

Breakfast: Shredded wheat with honey and nuts
    Lunch: HM Pizza
    Dinner: Chicken Curry & Rice

    Will call back later.

    Hugs to all.

    PP
    xx

I have terrible hayfever this morning, pollen count must be high today here.

I cleaned my kitchen last night and I was amazed how filthy it was, I leave the big window open all the time in this weather and the amount of dust that lays on the cupboards:eek:

Bit fed up that one of my dogs has sat in one of my lovely flower tubs and squashed the flowers:eek: I know what one it was because he had a flower in his mouth running round the patio:rolleyes: My haning baskets are getting so huge we wont get in the front door before long:eek: I will try and take some pics and show you all later.

I have forgotton to take chicken out of the freezer to make a curry with in the SC this morning ...........Dammmm.....

Hope everyone is well, im off to hit the Zirtek aaahhhhhhhtttttuuuuuuu

:hello: Goooooood Morning, manicdays, PP, ageandjo, and all fellow OS'ers!! :D:D:D

It's a glorious morning here, with the sun glinting off the mobile which hangs from the pergola casting lots of twinkly lights through the rooms, pretty!
Windows open giving the house a nice early morning airing.

Busy day for the family today, D10yo has his "Transition Day" today, which means he's going to his new school at a slightly later time than usual. I know it will be a fun day for him because when his brother did it last year, they take an object in under a given theme and spend the morning making up a play. This afternoon, the parents get a chance to go and watch it. Wonderful idea because it makes the friend-making-among-new-peers a doddle and is a reall confidence booster for them all. Another nice touch is, that the school provided lunch for them all (to a basic value) so they get to experience that particular environment too. The lads are looking forward to hooking up together lunchtime :D

Mad dash from there to his Math Masterclass and then straight from there to take d12yo to his footie practise. A loooooooong day all round!

B: Hm yogurt with chopped fruit
L: School dinnes for the lads today
    D: Picky tea.

On the OS front, I want to declutter/sort through some of my fabrics this morning; there are some feather cushions in TK Maxx which have yukky covers, but I thought I could buy them and add my own cushion covers. Feather cushions for £3 sounds too much of a bargain to pass up. Some of the covers have beads on them, so I'll take those off to add to another project at a later time. I'm going to try a gingerbread in the BM while I get on with that.

Have a thrifty Thursday ;):D

Morning girls, and all else to follow.

Had a bit of a poor nights sleep as i'm stressed and DH was away. I've been awake since 4:30ish, and now feel quite shattered.

It's a really busy day today unfortunately. I have 4 lessons,a to-do list that never seems to get any shorter, coursework clinic after school, and then a quick run round at home before going out for a meal for a colleagues retirement do. Thankfully my friend is driving, and as she is pregnant too, we should have a good excuse between us to leave at an earliesh stage.

Done already - One airer emptied. One load of washing from yesterday now hung up, WM about to finish again. Cats tracked down and fed, including using up some old chicken in the fridge, packed lunch made. I am just trying to do a bit of computer stuff before school before i can hang up the new stuff out the WM. :T

I will print out my two sets of reports before school, and then be busy all morning until 1pm, and then i will probably collapse in a heap for lunch, before planning tomorrows lessons in my free this afternoon.:p

breakfast - wheetabix, topped with dried fruit mix, cup of tea and hayfever and vitamin tablets.
lunch - quiche - shop bought i'm afraid, because it is quicker to grab
tea - something pasta based, and requiring a second mortgage to pay for it. Bah humbug!

Which reminds me, i'd best call in to the petrol station on the way home and stick about £5-10 worth of petrol in and then get some cash out for tonight. Best do it from the credit card, as with the bills this month, the current account isn't looking healthy, and i don't want it out of savings at the moment.

Anyway, WM has now finished and the cats are fussing so i'd best attempt to get on.

    Michelle, xx

    ***HAPPY BIRTHDAY***
    SMASHING BLOUSE
XXX MAY IT BE A REALLY SPECIAL DAY WITH YOUR NAN XXX

I'm up with the lark (well considering it's a holiday it's v.early to be up!) and it is an absolutely glorious day outside. Yesterday was such a wash out, horrible drizzling, grey, dark and dank - not nice at all. It's a bit demotivating when the weather is like that, but I started to tackle my paper mountain, pay the telephone bill, and give the kitchen a once over. OK, so my original plan was to do a massive catch-up on Moggins' Flylady Challenge - how can I put it other than that plan is still intact and waiting to happen.

ManicDays...aw, what a disappointment about the aHa concert, make sure that man of yours makes it up to you... Well done on getting all that techie stuff done on your pc too. Computers are great until they go on a go slow.

PP - bit of a mixed blessing there - not nice having a poorly OH but sounds like you are glad to postpone the hospital visit. BTW have to join the praise for the quiche, well done to your OH.

agandjo...you made me laugh with how your dog sat in your flower tub. Silly dog! I hope the plants recover. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of your hanging baskets. Mine are all a bit pink this year, don't know what I was thinking about when I bought the plants to go in them. They are fairly pretty but lack that wow factor due to the monotonous colour.

My kitties are going potty looking to get outside, so better go and open the back door. Have a lovely day all.
