i know its difficult not to worry moggins but i was recalled after one of my mammograms and i could see a white mark on mine but it turned out to be a cyst

Frizz-Head-Am sorting my DLA out ATM, already receive but havent updated claim for a while but should know in the next few weeks. Have full medical backing so am pretty sure I would qualify.
Mobility cars can be very tricky and a pain in the bottom as there are so many restrictions put on them and they are never yours. You also loose quite alot of money each week to pay for it. We would be better off buying either second hand or new and paying ourselves with out restrictions etc IYSWIM.
Have been awarded funds already for my stairlift and walk in shower that will be going in very soon. Thing is, I dont like asking and still feel that I will get better and be fine, but am starting to come around to the fact that this will probably never be-but its a personal mental thing I have going on in my brain ATM...:rotfl: I am very lucky and apreciate all help I have received.
Thanks for thinking of me though, and I hope your friends daughter gets some answers soon. My nephew who's 10 has Battens Disease and this is quite rare, its an awful disease. Its so much harder when kids are involved. I wish them well and best wishes.

Hello People
Have managed to sneak on the net and thought I'd pop on here and let you all know that I haven't forgotten about you
The new flat is fantabulous - a far cry from tha hellhole of a shared place!! OH got back from Serbia yesterday and it's soooo nice to have him back - even though he did being two loads of washing () However he has not stopped moaning about where I have put stuff in the flat  I mean did he really expect me just to live out of boxes whilst he was away?! (apparently the answer to this question is yes!!)
My routine is now almost completely OS (apart from the fact that I can't grow anything larger than what will fit on my kitchen window sill!!!) but it's nice to have the place to ourselves and the neighbours seem nice (and considerate - they had a housewarming party and invited me and forced a few bottles of wine down me, before kindly turning the music down when I collapsed into bed a few hours later)
Hope everyone is OK - Im trying to catch up with all your gossip!! I'll be back online full-time asap!!!!

Hi, Roz, welcome back. Glad you're happy in the flat - couldn't really be as bad as the last one, though!

Hi all :hello:
Bargain Rzl - belated birthday wishes for yesterday! I hope that you had a wonderful day.
(((((moggins))))) and congratulations on your last cigarette :j :j :j
I've been quite busy at school. Today was our "silly sports" day in aid of Sports Relief. Each class had to do a different silly race. We'd chosen to do the 3-legged race, which was quite tame in comparison to others, like the blind-folded sack race! However, I knew that it was the correct one when they started and 15 seconds later we had the first children falling flat on their face! Excellent entertainment. I'm just glad that I didn't have to do it. :rotfl:
Our head has told us this morning that he's got a new job - starting in September! We're all pleased for him, but are a little unsure as to who will be leading us. It's all speculation at the moment. Obviously I could do itbut I think I'd better give someone a little more experienced than me do the job first.
I've just been to pick up the Banns of Marriage certificate from the vicar here. At least I know that OH and I are now legally allowed to marry!Tomorrow I'm sorting out my passport  Whoops for leaving it so late to check when it ran out - ie February 06.:o I've got an appointment at the Peterborough Passport Office to fast-track my application (ie get it in time to save my marriage!!!).
I've also just discovered the delights of MSN messaging. I'm now able to talk to my distant cousin in Canada - so more distant in more ways than one! It's great to catch up without waiting for me to write a long, lengthy e-mail.... which never/rarely seems to happen.
Better go for now.

Now you've done it... I'm going to be searching all the stationary shops I pass for one :rotfl:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
It's a terrible thing this obsession with stationary isn't it? I don't know why but it seems to be much more a girl thing than a boy thing.
My eldest used to live in California, and on a visit there we went to a fabulous shopping mall and bought loads. Returning to the car I spot a warehouse type place way across the car park. DH and I go to investigate and it's a place called the container store. Talk about heaven!!!
This place is the best bits of Lakeland, habitat, ikea and every stationers you can think of.!:D
I'm like a kid in a sweet shop. DH quite likes it and sorts out a few gadgets he'd like to buy and bring home. I present with two baskets of stationary I can't possibly live without!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
He knows me by now, smiles indulgently, and we get it all! Well you know how at the airport, departures, there's always some poor b*gger whose case has to be inspected? Yep that's always ( I kid you not!!) me. Normally my biggest fear is " don't let it be the case with the dirty underwear". This year it's being inspected by the most gorgeous toyboy totty imaginable, and yes it's the one with my dirty laundry but it's also the one with the half ton of stationary!!! Try explaining that and not look like you need locking up!!:eek:You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
I LOVE foreign stationery. It's even better than British stationery because it feels so cool and different. Like when I was in Italy last year, I got loads of marbled paper. Why? Because it's different!
It's the same when I go to France with their stationery.
Wonder what I'll be buying on our honeymoon to Italy.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -

Sorry nicki.... but I have to say it's good to know that I'm not alone in my 'fetish' ;D
Good news is, now I've shown DS1 that they are £10.99 online at staples he thinks I should get a couple from tesco while the price is low!!! Won't tell him that they're not that price everywhere
Churchomouse - I'd have loved to be a fly on the wall for that!
Vicky A - Bet you had a whale of a time choosing your wedding stationery! What part of Italy are you going to? I've only been abroad once and that was Italy. Absolutely beautiful. It was about 24 years ago - I was still in junior school! Blimey 24 years ......
