I think you'll find it was Nelski who's got the posh new phone - I've had the same old basic Nokia model for over 2 years ;)

    Hello everybody,

Completly shattered and am going to have an early night. Had a lovely morning with sis, left around 2pm then went to the city to kill some time before DH knocked off. I bought DH a new wallet, a cookbook for moi :D, and I came across a LUSH store. :j Bought DD a bath bomb & some soap. That was it. Oh and I lashed out and bought an icecream. ;) DSis shouted morn tea (my turn next time) I bought my lunch from home. Very OS. Nearly took the wrong train at my connection. Lucky I asked the ticket guy at the last minute as it would have been awful.

Kaz & Churchmouse :naughty: Stop showing off now girls.

Brzl What does quail taste like? Glad you had a lovely day.

Larmy :wave:Lovely to see you again.

Chickadee What a relief for you that went ok. Next time should be easier. You did well. :T

Moggins Gooooooooo girl. It's easy peasy to quit. You can do it. YOu just have to convince yourself that your stronger than the drug.

Snowy Enjoy your day's off although I'm sure you will be flat out doing Flylady Challenge. 36_11_6.gif:D

Have a great day everyone, DGS arrives tomorrow. :jByeeeeeeeeeeee

Lol - Aussie lass, you always make me chuckle. Have more faith in Snowy, I'm sure she's up to her elbows in suds :D

    No puka pad then eh?

Looks like I might take that trip to the shops after all. Went to the shops the other day wanting one of those over the door organisers with lots of pockets - preferrably clear. Found one - and it was the only one in store - but as it was £8 put it back (after a lot of 'erm' ing and 'ah' ing) Thing is, have had a good scout around and can't find anything like it (want it for the boys room so they can put all their 'bity' bits in it) What are the chances of the only one still being there now - nearly a week on???

Oh how I looked and looked and looked. Nothing. I even went up to a counter of a big Office works and asked. I wasn't sure how to pronounce it though. So first off I said *poo - ka*, vague look and then I said it could be *puck-a*, again vague looks. By then I felt like telling her to puck off :D and consoled myself with an icecream. :p

    Morning Morning Morning!

and why havent I got those fancy smilies kaz/churchmouse???:confused:where are they? (am waiving from Tower to you CM)

Well got DH to docs yesterday, good so thats a start, he's coming up to meet me today for "posh coffee" at lunchtime cos thats wot these trendies to in canary wharf you know (arf arf!!) :rotfl:
Got everysorted out with their jobs this morning, DH paying some bills, mum peeling spuds for mash tonite - I dont have cottage pie - I'm having pork chops. Got kids ready, breakfasted, off to nursery, been to asda for bits - FORGOT to buy and pukka pad and see what fuss is all about.

DS1 is back from Malta (early hours), left him sleeping in his "Pit" this morning
will await the onslaught of washing later:eek: (good job my water is on Nicki!)

Am at work trying to fathom out data sources:confused: all good fun.

I need to do some baking, as mum likes to scoff the bread pudding, but ive run out! I cant seem to get in the mood for cooking in the evening at the mo, I get fed up trying to think what to do for tea! does anyone else feel the same?

moggins - well done:T keep going
nicky - any tram lines this morning??:rotfl:
catowen - Re contact lenses - I now go to Asda Optician, dont know if you have one near you? but I recently used to have Focus Monthly lenses (much cheaper at asda than boots etc) but now Asda do their "own" range of lenses, which I have just tried and they are really good, vision etc - just as good as Focus except they dont have the "handling tint" so not so easy to see if they've got into the container! but they are £6 a box (of 3) CHEAPER!
thought you might be interested. I am now saving £12 on 2 boxes 6 months supply:T

bargainrzl - glad you had lovely meal
jan59 - YES it is nice to do girlie stuff sometimes. glad you had good time Greece
queenie/penpen - glad chooks are doing tickedy boo!
pp - OO thta 5p listing sounds good - Ive got some things I want posting on ebay but i'm too scared to do it??? can you help me??
taplady -belated birthday wishes to DS.
snowy - Dont worry about it - just go bake something yummy!

    Part of the Furniture
    Morning everyone.

I'm trying to work hard this morning but progress is hindered somewhat by being at home with DH. My excuse is that as he will be away now till friday, i was trying to have a bit of QT with him.

We had my midwife appointment at 9:30. Looks like i might have a urine infection, but otherwise we are both healthy. :T He certainly felt healthy. DH only just felt hom move last weekend, so he took great delight in sitting there poking my belly this morning because each time he got a response. It's nice that he is excited actually.

DH then had his car at the garage for two new tyres. Essential really as he is off now to Brighton and i wouldn't want any damage to him or the car on the way.

I've airer jiggled, and need to put more through the WM. I'm currently trying to write reports, but i really can't be bothered. I have a councelling appointment at 4:15, and also need to go to my parents after that to pick up their wallpaper steamer. I have so much to do today, but my eyes are already squinting at the computer screen. Think i will do it the fly lady way of 15 minutes at a time.

Hugs to smashing blouse. sorry to hear that.

Hope the hospital went ok moggins. And congrats to PP on the increase in iron. It must mean that the trips to the hospital are working, so it may be some motivation to you to keep going. With any look, feeling better should be on the cards soon.

    Take care,
    Michelle, xx

Just popped back in for a quick catch-up.

Shez Kaz and I were both jealous of Aussielass and others' fancy smilies. They come from Smiley Central which you download, but we both had trouble making it work. Kaz got hers going first while I couldn't at all. Last night the saintly ( and I'm not joking, it was a mammoth task involving tremendous patience on her part ) Nelski sorted me out! So I had to display my new skill!

23_30_104.gifBut I must not overdo it, i must not overdo it, must not overdo it.
    I'm OK now :D

Aussielass thanks for the laugh. I think they are pronounced puck-a.

Must get off DGS coming shortly.

Shez, the pads are a4 size and have built in dividers, someone posted a link yesterday or the day before's daily post, I think?
