Shez grandson delayed, they just 'phoned, so have tracked down that link. No I can't post it, baby steps, I can do smileys 36_11_6.gif , but it's on Sunday's daily thread ( which I read after getting back Monday after a night away). Anyway it's Kaz's post no 52, and she gives the link. Oh I rambling, it's the pukka pads!

    Afternoon all :hello:

It may look like a late start for me today but I've spent 3 hours visiting various freebies & competition websites  Apart from that, one wash load out and back in dried :j, another one put out just now since we've got water today _party__party_:rotfl: Got 2 more loads to do, but I'm going to leave them for a bit until the stuff on the line is nearly dry. The progam on my washing machine I use is only 50 minutes long, if that, so I don't want anymore washing sitting in the machine for ages after it's finished like the one I've just put out :o

Queenie - whats you secret to getting up and getting so much done so early in the morning? I can't seem to get out of bed before 7.15 lately unless OH literally drags/pushes me out the bed :o Okay, the past couple of days with no water have been an exception, but I was back to getting up at 7am this morning when my alarm went off at 6.30am:rolleyes:

PP - Glad you're feeling better today. Thanks for pointing out the 5p listing day :D

Moggins - Good luck for today ((moggins)) & well done on quitting smoking :T:T:T I remember how hard it was for me to quit when I was at uni but then most of my friends & boyfriends smoked and we spent all our free time in the bar which was the only place you could smoke, even as just a "social smoker" it was hard for me. Now I can't even stand people who smell of smoke (Johanne, your OH is exempt though :p ) :D I keep a bottle of fabric freshener spray under the sink for when we get back from a rare night out, or for when we've been around people who smoke and its transfered onto our clothes.

Shez - No tram line today, they've moved on now further up the street. :rotfl:

Anyone any idea why it's just taken me an hour and 3 cups of tea to type this post so far? :rotfl:

Now these Pukka pads.... :o Did you have to mention them. Now I need to go and buy one :rotfl: No money means I'd either have to raid my new bottle or :eek:wait:eek:.

Which reminds me...look what I got in Barnardos on Friday for £2.99 :
    Picture%201.jpg

Yes, its one BIG bottle of larger instead of the usual cola/whiskey bottles you can get. You should have seen the looks I got walking down the road, getting on the bus and then going to pick DD up from school with it :rotfl:I've had to take the picture of it standing on our computer chair using the webcam which is why it's not very good quality. Best thing is it's already got £12+ in it :j

I nearly crowned OH last night.:mad: I've been at him for nearly a month to update Money as I knew he'd withdrawn quite a bit of money recently for various things but he doesn't keep it up-to-date (I'm pretty good, most things get entered within 24 hours unless we're away, then its within 24 hours of getting home ;) ). Last night he finally sat down and reconciled it using his online banking, so I'm upstairs getting ready for bed/to watch Medium, when he phones me (we have an intercom thing on our phone, very handy and stops the shouting down the stairs :rotfl: ) and says "erm, you know I haven't updated money for a while...well I'm a bit over drawn and I don't stay in credit now until Septembers paycheck":mad::mad::mad: I came down to find he will be £200+ overdrawn before his next paycheck goes in on the 20th :mad: Although, I'll give him his due, he said "okay, I've learnt my lesson", plus I'll keep on his back for the next few weeks until it becomes a habit to enter things in Money ;). This will be the second time I've juggled things to sort out his overdraft. When we met he had a £1500 overdraft which between us we managed to clear in less than a year and before we moved intogether ;)

So brain has been working overtime trying to figure out a way to get him back into the black and keep him there  Especially as we have 2 "one-off" events in August at IL's place which require gifts being bought and 2 tanks of petrol (£30ish a tank) for each trip (by the time we've filled up before setting off and then again on the way home). His sister has asked for us to go up as well on the 22nd for a BBQ for her birthday. Going to have to tell OH to tell her not this time.

On top of all this I need to buy DD a new uniform from scratch (hopefully that should be fully covered by the cheque from the school for £60), the CC bill has come in (£67 minimum.... £40+ in interest :ocharged. Have to have words with OH tonight about this to see if we can juggle it anywhere) and our finally electric bill has also come in from British Gas (just switched to Powergen) and that is £147.42 which wipes out my e-savings account, where I've been putting the money for it away, and more

Ever had one of those days? :wall::wall::wall: Going for lunch

Moggins, I hope all goes (has gone - just noticed the time lol) OK, well done with the stopping smoking too :T

I started off well, washing out and ironing done before miss and mr troo left this morning, jumped in the shower then went to work early. Planned on vacuuming and putting 2nd load of washing out when I got home BUT master troo came home while I was out (he stayed at a friends house last night). He brought 2 friends with him, they cooked pizza and left a mess. Made cups of tea and left tea stains all over the white worktops. Left the washing up everywhere. Guitars and amps upstairs, a ladder going into the loft, music coming from the PC and the stereo, the tv on in his room and they're now watching a DVD in the living room

After I'd done the bit of housework I was going to make some cards but I'm too scared to move from this chair, I've been here since I got home :rotfl:

sorry again for starting the pukka pad thing. :rotfl: Who'd have known you were such an obsessive bunch????:p

It's nice to think of myself as a trendsetter though. Even influencing purchasing in Australia. :rotfl:

Shez - sundays link was for the pukka pad, not the smileys if i remember correctly.

One set of reports finshed. The second set half done. (I'm resorting to cutting and pasting - it saves time when kids are fairly similar, and i make sure everyone has at least one individual comment.)

I just had a banana and strawberry smoothie for my lunch. I have to make use of it at least once every month. It also used up some of the about to go to the bin stage bananas.

WM is on with its 4th load in 2 days. My plan is to get the house all sparkly ready for the weekend, and then DH will demolish it again when he starts removing the living room wallpaper.

I'm starting to get a bit bored of the school work. I have got loads more done at home, but i am feeling achey now from sitting so long. One of my work colleagues suggested i should just stand and work, but i wonder what planet he's from as it isn't the common sense one that we live on.

Best go and try and do some more. My aim is that i get one more load through the WM, and i finish the reports before heading back to the drs for 3. I hate it when they can't sort you out with 2 appointments together.

    See y'all later.
    Michelle
