    Good morning all

Moggins - Whoohoooo!!! Well done you!

Queenie - Our gulls were too quiet this morning - I'll send some round your way.

2 little ones here all day today - another childminder and 3 kids arriving soon. Water play in the garden today - much easier to keep an eye on them all with another adult around.

The floors had a good sweep and hoover first thing, washing's doing it's thing, beds are all airing, need to put a loaf going at some stage.

Made a chicken and sweetcorn soup yesterday for dinner and it was yummy, there's loads left and everyone asked for it again for tea (I'd normally have frozen it for another time)..so that's nice and easy.

Off to the health club for a swim and sauna tonight to energise me for Thursday and Friday off!!

Hope you all have a great day.

Didn't have time to come on this thread yesterday - it was DS2's 14th Birthday - my baby!:o he's bigger than me !

    B - weetabix and raisins
L - low GI sandwich of some sort ( back on the diet!)
D - cottage pie and veggies

    Good morning everyone!

I have a free day ahead. Yay! However, I need to do some baking today as yesterday DS 'volunteered' me to help out taking some children from his school on the end of term trip. We are going to Manchester for a workshop session in the Royal Exchange Theatre, followed by a guided tour of the City of Manchester Stadium, home of Machester City FC and former venue of the Commonwealth Games. I'm so excited! This is why I became a SAHM. I have always worked full-time and feel I have missed out on this kind of thing. (I need to do the baking for our packed lunches!)

Last night I took the football coaching session for DS's football team. The usual coach and manager couldn't make it yesterday so as I have just done my FA level 1 coaching badge I had a go. My first time on my own. Phew! Talk about hard work! 13 x eleven-year-olds, many of them with attitude. Usually there are a few dads around to help out but last night for some reason the children all came with mum or dad was crocked (pulled muscle, etc) Oh well, at least the kids had a run out.

Today I am going to list some stuff on turbolister for the 5p listing day tomorrow.

Right, off to muck out and feed the guinea pigs. Oh joy!

BTW, what is it with Cottage Pie today? Everyone on here (including me) seems to be having it for tea this evening.

Bargain RZL - how was your evening yesterday. It was lovely to see how many good wishes were sent your way yesterday. You must feel very special!

    Have a great day eveyone!

Morning all ... was still chatting to SnowyOwl on MSN at 2am so am a bit surprised I'm actually awake this morning :o:D ... and she kept making me jealous by saying "Did I mention tomorrow's a bank holiday here?" :naughty: ... Moggins, congratulations - that's a great achievement so far! ... Queenie & PenPen - your quails sound lovely (now is probably not the right time to mention that I had quail for dinner last night :p) ... Anyway, am in the office ... Have two whole free evenings, today and tomorrow ... Will be using them productively ... bit of cooking, bit of cleaning, lots of laundry, limited wine consumption and two early nights! ... The laundry is the most crucial thing, as I haven't done any for over a week  (been busy/lazy :o) and am starting to run out of clothes despite all the high-voltage shopping I did with TM & Nels the other week! ... Two loads tonight and one or two tomorrow (including bedding) should do the trick, and make best use of the washing line while the weather is so lovely ... And MUST do some hoovering ... Nicki, is your water back on? (sounds like a bit of a nightmare in this weather when all you want to do is have showers all the time) ... Got to go, lots of w**k to do ... Hope all are well ... Love Rzl xx

    Hello everyone!!! 15_1_70v.gif
Well done moggins!23_5_118.gif as I'm sure lots of others are on here too.
PP - thanks too from me for pointing out the 5p listing day. Saw an email from them but didn't bother reading it! Just the push I need to get listing.
Larmy - I use and old kitchen bin in the house for mine. Everything goes in there - when it's full we sort it. Outside I have a garden 'chushion box' that I keep all the sorted stuff in it's bags.
Queenie - you are so modest! You're posts have so inspired me to make my home nicer, and combined with moggins and others support I am making progress - but to be able to do all that stuff in the morning! I usually manage to get it done late afternoon!
Pooky - your soup sounds lovely. The only one I do is chinese inspired - is your recipie on here somewhere?
Taplady - belated birthday wishes for your DS. Isn't it a shock when you first notice they're taller than you? Mine was about 14 when it happened too. He's 16 now and still growing!
    Lol, Churchmousee_1_43.gif - now who's showing off 10_9_141.gif

Went to bed at a reasonable time last night yet the boys had to keep waking me this morning. I think it's because I've found a new book and gone back to having a quick read before lights out - but I love reading!

Ah well. Wash load has finished - not sure where to dry as forecast says good weather, but sky is grey 29_1_5.gif

Going to do a half house blessing today, attempt to sort out my new mobile phone (really jealous of yours Bargain Rzl) and if I succeed on that then I'll get started on listing for ebay.

Got the urge to go shopping (I think it's all this talk of puka pads :rotfl: ) but I know I shouldn't..... I think......

I've kept all my receipts from this week too, so hopefully will work out what I've spent by tomorrow - and it's looking good thanks to all who've supported me on here!23_30_114.gif

giggle at Churchmouse having sussed out how to do those graphic-thingies!

    :j :T :j to Moggins for the non-smoking :j :T :j

This morning brings me the depressing fact of my Tesco bill, with a £12 late payment charge. 1st time I've ever forgotten to pay, and I paid it two nights ago... sigh. My own fault, but frustrating. Never mind, reconciled it in MS Money and set up payment for this month, so that I don't do that again!

DD slept in until 07:40 :) Result, especially as I'd been out with the girls last night for a Chinese, and maybe just one or two drinks

BM is on, 1st time in yonks, but as all I have is two mouldy slices of bread, and loads of flour, it kinda made sense.

My car has just been returned from the garage. I was too cowardly to ask how much it cost. They're sending the invoice in the post.

Off to make some muffins and biscuits with DD, and then as the weather isn't overly hot, I think I may take her up to the PYO ... to pick some raspberries :) and replace the strawberries that never got made into jam as 4lbs got eaten!!
