    Morning everyone.

I had another lie in this morning till 9. I woke up so hot and sticky. So i had a quick bath, and then made it downstairs in just enough time to put the compost out and let the kittens in before the rain started. Hopefully a good shower will cool it off again.

Well i didn't do very much work yesterday from my list. I spent most of the day on the net, although some of it was productive such as paying bills and doing a money shuffle to boost the savings. I'm nearly at my target, and i still have July, August and September at full pay before i start my maternity leave, so i am well chuffed. We should have enough to also get the rest of the stuff we need, enjoy centre parcs when we go, and also pay some more off the mortgage. Then if we need to, we can always reduce payments while i'm off work saving nearly £200 a month. Don't want to do that but it is an option.

DH is still in bed, and will be for a bit. He worked at some poh schools 6th form leaving do last night near Peterborough, and crawled into bed at about 4:30. We have to squeeze in an ASDA trip today, and he has to deliver some equipment somewhere or other, so i've plenty of time to try and get on today.

Sallypurple - good luck with the racefor life. I've had several friends do it this year, all on different weekends. Don't know why it's that way.

The rest of you have a nice day. It's now throwing it down here so i guess that is me put back on task for the day.

    Michelle, xx

She is pretty tall at 5 foot 5 and size 6 feet, so knew it was coming and she has been so horrible lately, I could have easily killed her!! How will OH cope with 2 monthlys in the house:confused: All she said was Im too young, the average age is 13...its not fair!! So Auntie TM and Auntie Nelski-she may well be asking you some stuff soon on MSN...so be warned:rotfl: It doesnt matter what we say to her, we're just her parents...LOL.

Anyway, Id best go. Luv to all

    Morning OSers :j What a lovely day:cool:

Blimey PP thats awfully young to have to cope with periods poor love. Not sure on the ethics of this but there is a contraceptive injection that you can have every 3 months that stop the periods completly, just wondering if it might give her a bit more breathing space before having to cope with this.

Anyway shes welcome to ask Aunty Nels anything as you know (my 11 year old god child is currently going through the phase of not wanting to tell mum anything so I get to hear all about her crush on the football player at school and how she would love to kiss him on the cheek:eek: :rotfl: Im just there to make sure its an appropriate cheek:D)

Sally - good luck on the race for life - I was going to do it this year but somehow never got round to it and now I feel guilty:o

Have got one load of washing nearly done and some bedding waiting to go so but that will be the extent of my house stuff today - I fully intend to enjoy the weather and am going to a bbq at lunch time with my mate round the corner and then may indulge in some body roasting in the back garden to boost my fading tan :(

Hope you all have a lovely day and enjoy what ever it is you have planned.

    xxNels

Awh PP that is such a huge event in a girls life. I still remember screaming for my Mum on the toilet and Dad coming instead :( I wouldn't tell him what was wrong and cried for my Mum, after me being the last of 3 girls he already knew what had happened :D

I decided to make a huge event of it in DD's life (the passage into womanhood and we went out shopping and had a coffee together :D

They seem to get younger every day, I'm sure it has something to do with all the growth hormones they are ploughing into our food, one of the reasons I have stuck our lot on organic milk.

Spent yesterday at Nottingham university's open day with DD (17) and then went for a late lunch at a carvery. Had a really civilised and enjoyable day and nice to have some one to one time with her.

Went to visit my dad last night - his face looks yellow and he has come out in red blotches all over his arms - popped across to tesco and got him some calamine lotion so hope that helps. Also told nurse to assume that dad has a headache every day, his legs hurt him and he is not sleeping at night! He will not tell nurses etc how he really feels so then they cannot help him!

Just packed up a picnic and got a new coolbag from Sainsburys when you buy five stickered items.

For six people we have 12 mini scotch eggs, 12 filled rolls, six sausage rolls, six hard boiled eggs, five chocolate cookies and six iced buns. Also a giant flask of boiling water for tea and coffee!

Decided to drive to Lotherton Hall so DD (12 ) can see the exotic birds etc. Lets hope we have a nice afternoon!

Stiill have time to see my dad at the hospice tonight and to iron school uniform for tomorrow.

    Hiya again

Been for my bike ride - found some roads I've never been down before which were greast ..... until I came to the great big steep uphill  Ok, so I'm not uber fit yet so gave uphalf way and pushed my bike. However, the route I did today will be a test of how fit I'm getting. Took me 50 mins today with 3 stops :o (although it is hot)

PP - DD can ask away. However, you'll probably find that you and DD settle down to the same pattern, so at least he can get it all done and dusted in the same week :D I'll pm you too.

I'm off for my shower now (got waylaid on my arrival home to apply bucket loads of sunscreen and demand the wearing of t-shirts and hats with their trunks) I've just decided that tea will be salad cos it's too hot to cook and I have some lovely smoked salmon in the freezer. Boys can have cheese/ham. I have lots of fruit so fruit salad for pud ..... I have ice cream too :j

Best phone the pool before I shower to see if I can swim at 5. No point washing my hair now if I can :)

Gotta rush - little boys asking for ice cream cones.... yum

Oh, forgot to say, for those who 'know' her, I had a pm from kiwichick last night. They've moved to a new house but it didn't have a landline and they've only just got one fitted. She's a bit busy with the new house ATM, but she's missing us and will be back soon.

She asked me to say :hello: to everyone.
