Hello all. ((((hugs))))) to all who need them. Haven't posted for ages, I'mrunning very fast just to keep still at the moment.
Went and saw my friends new puppy this am - Jack Russell 8 weeks old (ahh!) Spent all afternoon telling DDs we don't need one as well.

Off now to put the BM on and cook Tea - fish and chips with the Cod OH caught yesterday.:T

Good Luck to everyone doing race for life at Killerton tomorrow (or anywhere else for that matter!):p

    Hi All,
I havent posted for ages but have been lurking daily like a bad smell.

Not much O/S going on in the house of pea lately to be honest, except I am very excited about my various veggies and fruit and herbs etc which are growing away nicely in the garden, and looking forward to the school holidays when I will be off work and can O/S in earnest for 6 weeks. (Not sure about FlyLady though, cooking and gardening sound appealing but cleaning?! Im sure I will force myself to do a bit)
Kaz - sorry to hear of your problems with your mum.
Nelski - you sound like the kind of aunty every child should have. Im sure my two DD's would adopt you in a trice - they do screaming (incredibly well, ask my neighbours!)
Talking of neighbours, DD's have had their little friend from a few doors away round to play in the paddling pool this afternoon. I dread her coming - the minute she arrives she is starving and thirsty, I do try really hard to feed her fruit and water but she heads straight for the biscuits and chocolate. Her mum who came to collect her was so unamused to find her little cherub smeared with chocolate, biscuit in hand - she virtually screamed "NOOOOO" at her as soon as she saw her. I think we would have already been blacklisted for playing with if it weren't for the black bags of outgrown school uniform which wing their way down the road.
I have had a very chilled and relaxed day today, I have sat outside with my Jilly Cooper for company, had to shut the garden door as OH was making too many heartrending sounds whilst watching the footy. Think I will go back to Jilly and OH may get the message and start the tea!

LOL, we were supposed to be attending a barbecue at DD1's pub but when Wayne Rooney got booted off we ended up having to leave as the air was turning blue and DD2's little ears were in danger :D

Thank you everyone, I really needed that. When it was just me I used to think I was being oversensitive/posessive, but it's a step too far when
    she hurts my boys.

DS2 is back up with the band now, practising ready for his recording tomorrow - it's all happened so quickly, but he's such a natural poser!!!
I doubt it'll ever make him rich as the type of metal they play is so, um, well let's just say 'an aquired taste' ;) However, it does mean he is happy and occupied - and of my three he is the one I worried might go off the rails.

I'm going to try to take the other two to a boot sale and perhaps the beach tomorrow morning so they feel they've done something with their weekend. Probably take the dog too as we need to keep him off the lawn due to the weedkiller. The plan is to put down bark when it's all died - I had found somewhere cheap online but have lost the link - anyone here know of a very cheap supplier? So far the quotes have ranged from £250 to £720!!! I'm sure I had one before that worked out at £60....
OS today I've made pizza for our dinner and a couple of berry and keifir smoothies for lunch and dessert. I froze the tomato base into ice cubes as I figured it'll be easy enough to thaw a couple as I need (I would have thrown the rest pre OS!). Made stock and had to feed it to the dog (don't ask - but the dog loves me :D) Froze the two chicken breasts (would have ended up forgetting and throwing pre OS).
Not a lot OS otherwise - but am about to make a 'breakfast' loaf for tomorrow (with muesli and banana chips - they're down to under 50p in both Tesco and Asda now)
Thanks again guys for your support, it really means a lot and has helped pick me back up no end. Huge hugs to you all, and I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend
    Kaz
Ps Moggins - I might just take you up on that offer :D x

    Morning Guys

Hope you are all well! Ive been up the half the night with a very upset tummy:o We didnt go to our friends in the end as their DD wasnt too good, so have re-booked for next weekend. OH bought 2 of the huge pizzas from Asda for £5 and think they were too rich-I only had half of one slice:confused: ...oh well!!

WM is on, DW needs emptying (clean) and toilet has been cleaned. Washing will be hung outside. Rest of the house is ok.

Today OH is finishing the garden and looking through his course as he has another exam on Wednesday and needs to knuckle down abit. I have one little piece left of my essay then it will be posted tomorrow. Have signed up for my next course starting October:eek:  ....I must be mental, but it is keeping me going and focused (well kind of lol), and whilst Im unwell, may aswell gain a few more qualifications along the way;)

OH got a lovely leg of lamb out the freezer last night, so thats our dinner for later. He managed to buy a few items we didnt really need yesterday but they were still pretty good bargains. He bought a 24piece picnic set (4 x plates, bowls, cups, cutlery-very sturdy and in a bag) for £2.48, 8 x huge plastic beakers for 60p, 100 golf tees:confused: £1, some other bits we needed for the week (all fridge items yougurts, ham, cheese, loads really) and spent £38:eek: Although it was alot of money he bought a few treats like the pizzas, chocolate, ice cream:o :o:o He did also use £4 in vouchers which were knocked off the total.

I have some paperwork to catch up with today and a few forms to fill in-I hate forms! Have to take it pretty easy as im up the hospital 4 times this week:rolleyes:

Breakie: Fresh Bread with butter and jam
Lunch: Leftovers from buffet we did last night
Dinner: Lamb, roasties, pew potatoes, cut beans, yorkies, cauliflower, peas and mint gravy-may do a crumble for pudding:D

Anyway, best go as hubby has just come down and DD in bed so we can have a natter. Hugs to all.

    PP
    xx

    Hi all,
I don't think I've ever been this early to post before.:o
I'm eating my breakfast and getting ready fo Race for life listening to the thunder rolling around outside:eek: I think we're going to get wet!

DD2 and I made some lovely flapjacky energy bars to take with us, then DD1 wanted her hair dyed pink to match her fairy dress and I forgot to take them out of the oven.:naughty: I'm going to be in trouble when DD2 gets up!

Have a lovely day, when I get back i'm going to make Banana bread and Banana curd from the yummy recipes thread because I've got loads of manky bananas to use up.

    Bye for now, Sally

    Good luck SallyPurple!
I did the Race for Life last year and the atmosphere was great. I'm afraid I walked rather than ran, it gave me a good excuse to catch up on the gossip with my friend though.
I got heat exhaustion yesterday (my own silly fault, I did a 10 mile walk with not enough water:o ) so today I'm going to take it easy. I'll probably do my ironing then I have some organisation of the finances because I spent too much on bargains on friday. Got enough toothpaste to last the whole year though!
Have a lovely day everyone and drink plenty of water!

    Hello all

(((hugs))) PP Mind you, I'm sure you could make an interesting modern art sculpture from all those tees :D Another thing to make your millions on ebay.

Woke up with a start at 7am thinking "credit cards" (as you do) so have just spent 20 mins doing my online banking stuff. Boys are fed and I'm just having a cuppa and will see what I fancy in a bit, BM has just beeped so may wait for the loaf to cool and have some scrummy toast

Will go for a bike ride this morning (didn't manage it yesterday) when the chaps go to church. Then I shall go for a swim cos DS1 has another swimming lesson at 5 and I think the main pool is open. Best check that, otherwise I'll be reading for an hour :D

We have another gorgeous day here (at long last) WM has a load waiting to be hung out and I have plenty left to wash. That also means I have PLENTY to iron tonight! The paddling pool was cleaned out and filled yesterday, but it seems to have a small puncture, so I'd best find the repair patch I happened upon a few days ago. I know I put it somewhere safe :rotfl:

Ok, off to rescue my loaf and unloak to front door so the paperboy can chuck it straight in rather than stand and feed it bit by bit. (He's a neighbour, not just any paperboy :D)

Hope you all have a good day and hello and ((hugs)) to those in need and those I've cross-posted with too :)
