    Happy birthday RZL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morning all................((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))to those who need them.

Bedroom day today, I have someone coming to see me tomorrow, so decdied I should clean up today, then it will all pucker....... also need to make bread and carrot cake forlunch tomorrow, she is lactose intolerant, so it no milk or dairy, have soya spread in, keep it for the grand children who are the same...

Nice morning, so have a load for the washer, colours on a shortish wash, will put the whites in overnight tonight........

OH woke me at 5am this morning coughing, says his nose id running, so guess man flu might be on its way, but it will not stop him playing bowls on Thursday.

I ordered a laptop for my friend on Friday..... 3 day delivery, it arrived yesterday, she phoned to tell me it had come, so I will have to go over and set it up for her...... she does not get her braodband connection until next week, so time for her to get used to using it. I have a feeling I am going to be 'on demand' sorting out problems.......

Right off for my extra coffee and then down to work, think OH might do the hoovering, he loves the dyson, so I can dust and he follows me with the hoover, have already done the bathroom, just the floor requires attention.

Snowy Any chance you sending the window cleaner round here think I could do with a bit of shaming to head into DD's room and give it a cean. Would be more inclined to but its so messy:D.

PPHope all the hospital stuff goes well today.

Have BM on at the min and have got a wash load to hang out before the WM goes back on. Have cleaned the kitchen as OH left it in a right state from last night. I'm in w**k again tonight, so I better not come home to the same mess.

    Happy Birthday Bargain Rzl! :bdaycake:

Hope you have a great time tonight. Have fun!

I really need to get motivated today. It didn't start too well. My alarm went off at the usual time but I switched it off instaed of snoozing it. Consequently I fell sound asleep again and DS had to wake me up. Bless him, he had had his breakfast and was just about to get dressed for school. "I thought I'd better wake you up mum," he said as he crept into the room at ten past eight! I managed to get up, dressed and out of the door by twenty past so he was on time for school.

He took his outfit for the school concert with him this morning. He was really proud of it. He is playing the part of a singer in a rock band so it was all chains and slashed clothing. I have to say, it looked good! Its amazing what you can do with £5 to spend in charity shops, a sewing machine and a bit of imagination! I wish I'd taken a picture of him now.

I didn't make any progress on the lounge yesterday so it is at the top of my list of today jobs. So far, I have taken DS to school, had my breakfast, fed the guinea pigs and updated my finances spreadsheet.

I'm feeling a bit nervous today as I'm taking my son's football training session tonight on my own. The manager and coach can't make it tonight and as I did my coaching course a month or so ago, my time has come to take the session myself. My stomach turns over when I think about it. I'm not naturally an outgoing person and there are about 12-15 boys (including my own!) aged 10 & 11 to handle, as well as the parents looking on to see how I do. I have some ideas as to what I'm going to do with them but I need to make sure I know what I am doing.

Right, this isn't helping me get the lounge done is it?

Have a great day all, especially the "OS Posh Bird!"

Morning everyone else as well :hello:

Quite, as in jobs wise, for me today as I'm shattered.

UU have the water off again and they are working on the mains outside our house and down a little bit further. Oh the joys of the pounding metal / paving slabs/ digger  I'm hoping they won't have to switch the water off again tomorrow as I would like a day where I can do washing, wash the dishes, clean the bathroom, leave the lid on the system of the toilet  (filling it back up with water from the bath via a jug so it can still be flushed), and maybe even have a bath but I don't think thats likely until next week or the weekend at this rate  Before anyone comments, I am having a wash down of a morning :naughty::p PLUS I had a good shower at my mums on Friday and washed my hair again first thing yesterday morning before the water went off :p

DD will need to have a bath tonight as she didn't have one at the weekend (went to mums on Friday night and she had one there so she's not that dirty :p ) and I can't keep just washing her down with a flannel as she's got major grazes on her knees and won't let me near them with anything, she was even bunching up her nightie this morning as it was brushing against her knee :rolleyes: Hoping a nice warm bath, a mug of warm milk, a short story and bed should help her sleep tonight. She seems to be having trouble dropping off and then waking up really early. Thinking we might have to invest in a blackout blind for her room

Last night I did 4 loads of washing, mainly towels as DD had 2 accidents yesterday  so I have quite a few towels out on the line ATM blowing, and a load of clothing split between my hanging rack (all on hangers to minimise ironing ;) ) and the airing cupboard. The rest will have to wait until other things dry. I have one more load of washing to do (darks) so I'll hopefully get them on tonight ready to go out tomorrow.

Realised last night that since OH's school finishes on Friday for the summer this is the last weekend I have to wash smart pants/shirts until September :j:j During the summer he goes in wearing jeans and t-shirts as the kids aren't in so although the amount of t-shirts goes up, I loose a wash load to do as I try to put OH's stuff in on an economy/half-spin so they don't crease as bad ;) Also won't be needing to do DD's uniform, except when I buy it, so I'm going to sit down with the uniform list and work out what I need to buy and how many of each. Then maybe I can buy it once I get my money back from the school. I think I'll probably go to Asda as they have everything in, and I should only need to buy DD a sweatshirt, which can wait until September as she'll be going back in her cardigan and maybe even her summer dresses depending on the weather. ;) We will need to take her to buy proper school shoes  (Memories of Mum spending Sunday nights upto her elbows in shoe polish come flooding back  ) but I'm going to leave that until as close to September as I can on account of her feet growing ;) Also need to remember to put OH's shoes in to be repaired as he's split the sole on one.

Just spent the last 30 minutes leaning out of our front bedroom window watching UU :o They had one of those dumper trunks with a scoop/grabber thing on the back collecting up all the muck and old pavingslabs etc. I had to watch them do the whole thing outside ours as I was taking pics on my phone to show DD honestly!!! (Trust me it wasn't for the totty, as they say around here, they're all old enough to be my dad with bellies that would give a whale a run for its money, or a mouth like a sewer. Neither of which appeal to me :p ) Only problem is now my arm looks like a tram could run up and down it there's so many deep lines from leaning on the window frame :rotfl:

Best go check on the washing, then I think I'll finish the dusting and get on with the paperwork I have to fill in and send back to school. It's suddenly multiplied and I thought all the paperwork to be returned would happen at the beginning of term

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

    Morning all!

Bargain Rzl - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!:j Hope you have a lovely evening, I'm sure you'll find somewhere nice to spend it (both the evening and the cheque!) Will defo be having a piece of cake today, or a least a muffin (made my first-ever batch on Sunday and they came out really well - particularly pleased as i hadn't been up to baking for some time!)

Snowy owl - glad you are now feeling well enough to have some cake!

Tootles - glad you survived your visit to the dreaded dentist!

Chickadee - well done for your DS's costume, i bet it looked great! I always dreaded having to make costumes or fancy dress for my children as I was always completely devoid of ideas.:o

Aussielass - hope you have a lovely day with your sister! Enjoy the shops!

P-P - sorry you are having a bad day - do hope you make it to the hospital and that you'll feel better later! (((HUGS)))

Vicky A and Michelle - hope your days go well. Not long til the hols now!

My DD2 is 34 weeks pregnant and has gone from being really happy to feeling huge, tired out and fed-up just in the course of the weekend. She can't believe she's still got 6 weeks to go! :p ("Oh yes, I remember it well....."!) She's hoping baby will turn up a bit early. She'd originally worked out that it should be due in the last week of July, but the first scan showed she wasn't as far on as she'd thought and they reckon the third week in August. She didn't mind much at the time, but she does now! She was planning to work to 36 weeks so as to have more time off afterwards, but is now wondering
whether to finish at the end of this week, when she'll be 35 weeks. She's a Community Paediatric Nurse, so is on the go most of the day.

I'm doing my own "mini flylady challenge" as I can only do a very little bit at a time, and so far I've managed to cull my underwear drawer so I can actually open and shut it easily:j , and yesterday I sorted and de-cluttered one of the kitchen cupboards so am feeling quite pleased - will try to do another one tomorrow!:p

Shez - we cross-posted. So sorry to hear about your DH ((((HUGS)))) Thinking of you both.

    Have a good day everyone.
