I've noticed that now there are no doors hiding the tins away my storecupboard organising is much better - we don't have anything stuck in a corner to forget about as the shelves are only 2 tins deep.
Ooooh I can't wait until I have my own place! I was thinking along these lines last night when trying to root out the flour, bicarb and 2 types of sugar. Between us, housemate and I have ONE SINGLE food cupboard with three shelves, one of which has a couple of his bits and pieces on it, while the other two are packed from top to bottom and front to back with my baking ingredients, and I can never find anything. I can't wait until I am the proud owner of a kitchen where I get to plan how to maximise the storage space!

    Hi everyone!
    Happy birthday Bargain Rzl!:bdaycake:
My bosses are off on their hols this week so am mega busy on my tod here. Didn't get my lunch until 2.30 [now where's that violin!!]They sent me an email today titled "Smug holiday email" cheeky monkeys just to remind me that they're off and kicking their heels!
We had news on the small person last Friday. Due to the recent changes the government has pulled the funding so we don't stand a cat in hells chance of getting him statemented even though we've made it through every stage so far but the fantastic news is that he's had the best year ever both academically and socially and the school are putting in a very effective plan for him from September to build upon the progress made so far. I'm so chuffed that I'm going to make the team a cake to say thankyou:T It's such a rollercoaster having a SEN child sometimes but great to have something to celebrate!
Other than working manically I potter along much along as usual fitting in the OS bits wherever possible. Finally got round to making 2 weetabix cakes which are lovely. Have also been splashing the cash round madly and invested in a value lever arch file and file dividers for the grand sum of £1.13. My old style scribblings are now being organised to within an inch of their little lives and I am to be heard madly muttering "now should this come under the Eco section or cleaning" I'm deliriously happy but note to myself when I get time....Must Get A Life!!!
Anyway off to pay very close attention to Mr Depp's acting skills [must not be distracted by Mr Bloom however tempting] tomorrow evening and shall hopefully emerge in a swoon. Aaaaah My blood pressure's rising steadily just contemplating the prospect.
On that low note I shall leave you folks in peace and go and bother some other poor soul elsewhere on the board.
    Cheerio

I know we could devote an entire thread, nay messageboard, to the peculiar habits of our OHs, but

Why do men feel the need to put holey socks in the laundry basket instead of the bin? Especially when said bin is right next to the laundry basket?
    JUST THROW THEM AWAY DIRTY!!!

(I know, I know, I should count myself lucky he actually puts them in the laundry basket instead of just leaving them on the floor :D)

He obviously thinks you're so houseproud you only throw clean laundry away!! Mine is exactly the same!!:rotfl:

Mine has put pants with the waistband gone to be washed! What does he think I don't have enough to do?
