Sorry Churchmouse!!!! I hadn't seen the post on this thread - I'd just popped over from another where you'd mentioned my 'showing off'!!!!
Not really sure what I did different as nothing seemed to work straight after my changing it. I did change one of my setting to WYSIWYG mode (under user cp), then tried following advice I got on the techie thread (followed a link given on there). As I say, didn't work straight away, even after I logged off and then back on..... but somewhere along the line it 'magically' started working.
Wish I could be more use, but I'm clueless myself!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RZL.
What a day of ups and downs. It was transfer day at school today so the kids were everywhere. I am the school receptionist so was on the go constantly for about 3 hours.
The hospital then rang to say that Nan also has bowel cancer and that the surgeons have been and she is refusing treatment. That just did it I broke down in the office. The kids were lovely though.
Took about an hour to compse myself then went back to it. I can't get to the hospital today so going in tomorrow to discuss my nans discharge and to get as much help, free if possible from Social Services.0 -
smashing blouse sorry to hear of the news about your nan, the macmillan nurses are marvelous and see about getting attendance allowance for your nan no one seems to tell you about that, from what you have told us she sounds a wonderful lady and hard though it is for you you will have to accept her wishes, lots of love and hugs to you x0

So sorry for your sadness. Just love her and support her, she really needs you now. Try to focus on what a brave decision she's made. From my mum's experience (died 4 months ago) I think she's probably right.
Certainly echo twink, re macmillan nurses and attendance allowance. Mum got that and it really helped. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
