Morning :hello: ... Had a fab night's sleep last night, since this muggy weather began I've been collapsing into bed at about 10:30pm ... Did so last night and slept right through to nearly 7am :j :j :j ... This morning I feel almost awake
... PP, sorry you're feeling awful! At least if the rain and thunder are on their way you might have better air quality to be ill in IYSWIM ... Made one of my big fish pies yesterday, though for dinner I didn't fancy any, as I'd had a snack of bread and cheese earlier ... First portion of it will be today's lunch (with peas) and rest is in the fridge to be portioned up tonight when I get home ... Tonight was going to be a quiet night in, but my singing teacher phoned yesterday and offered me a free ticket for a concert at St John's, Smith Square, by a singer who I've heard a few times and who I like ... Should be good! ... I did succumb to a takeaway brekkie this morning though, croissant and cappuccino from a proper Italian place on my way to work ... only £1.75 though, it would have cost about £3 from the Starbucks next door ... Sometimes in this weather I could quite happily live entirely on bread, cheese and iced water ... very moneysaving! ... My boss (the new one that I like) is not in today, so plenty of time to get things done without interruptions ... Hope everybody's OK ... Must go and get some work done ... Bye for now ... Love Rzl xx

Morning everyone!:hello:
PP - sorry to hear you're so unwell today, sounds horrid. I hope you feel better soon.
Moggins - been meaning to ask, what trips have you planned? I liked your idea of choosing 2 activities per week and have been trying to come up with similar - but kinda stuck and need inspiration!!
Catzine Where in Wales does your sis live? I'll try to put in a good word for some nice (but not too hot!) weather
Thankfully it is lush here today - all lovely and cool. Plants are watered, B/M is on .... but the house is a tip!
I seriously need to get back onboard the F/L wagon and also get myself sorted with a routine. I am trying, but the house just gets 'messed' so quickly. TBH I think my mum not showing up on the weekend burst my bubble a bit - in the weeks since keeping the house tidy I've not had one visitor. I know I should be doing this for me and my boys, but I was kinda looking forward to showing off to mum
Anyway, enough whining, onwards and upwards and all that :j :j :j
Music is now on, it's cool enough to crack on, so after a quick surf and drinking my tea I'm going to make the most of it.
Hope you all have a good day!

Hello everbody,
I'm in mourning tonight. My computer crashed this arv and I've lost all my bookmarks.I've tried everything, but I can't get em back. What a bloody nuisance. I had so many good sites. I will definatly start backing them up in future. I didn't know I could until I read it before on the techy board.
Washed the dogs this morning & mowed after lunch. Lovely warm day today. I washed the sheets & towels as well as more rain is predicted. XDIL rang. She is dropping off DGS next Thursday & we are looking after him until Monday. :T
PP You poor thing. Hope you feel better soon.
Better go and start looking through the threads where I know some fave bookmarks are. ByeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
:grouphug: Oh, Aussie Lass, so sorry for your loss
I had the same happen last week because I'd asked DS to try 'cleaning' the pc. Still got all the noraml rubbish on there, but he cleared all the sites I'd stored as instant links on my tool bar!
How do you get all the extra smilies on here? I've reloaded smiley central again, but it just refuses to post all the lovely smiles on here. Tried posting the HTML codes - but they just show as just that
I love my smileys... please help!!!!

Morning all :hello:
Penny-Pincher - Sorry to hear your feeling so rough. Get well soon. :grouphug:
Everyone else - Hope you all have a good day and manage to keep cool
I've got a quiet day today. WM is on its 3rd load (towels, again), 2 loads are already out on the line and iron-hanger-thing ( :rotfl: ) and thats about it
Only a few jobs to do today which revolve around clearing up downstairs after lastnights party. Now don't get me wrong, there's not that much to clear up, it's basically sweep/hoover the livingroom & dust, find somewhere to put the left over food (Every cupboard, the fridge and freezer are all HEAVING with food
), wash the dishes (way too hot in our kitchen at night ATM as it gets the sun from about midday onwards  ) and do a small amount of ironing (about 6 items I think
). Only problem is I'm already sleepy due to the heat and I really can't see me having the energy to do any of it
Will at least have to do the dishes as they can't wait, and I need to find a tuppleware box for the leftovers. Just realised I should really empty the recycling box in the recycling bin outside before the sun heats it up again
Right, better get on with it. I see a day infront of the computer otherwiseLaters
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Kazonline - I just downloaded smiley central & it works for me. Go into your user cp & then into edit options. You then tick the 3 boxes with the heading of Thread Display Options. I hope that's right. I could be speaking poo.
I love my smilies too. I use to have incredimail for email. That's fab. But it kept making my computer crash. It's a bit touchy. I have boring old gmail now.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -

Funnily enough she lives in South Wales! Between Cardiff and Swansea right on the coast! Could be a neighbour? Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.
