    Morning all,

Sorry you're feeling so terrible PP

DH got up with the kids this morning, I'm just taking them to school and then off into town before it gets too hot. I can't remember exactly what I am going in for but I'm sure it will come to me!

Aaah I've remembered now - it's to pay for the coach tickets for the trips in the summer holidays :D

    Morning everyone

The rain this morning:eek: It just fell. We had thunder and lightening, but it's still too hot:mad:

Went out with the girls last night and had the best laugh ever. We were laughing so much it hurt. We really needed it though

Not much OS going on today as we've run out of water at work so I'll have to go out and get some juice from the expensive Co-op - but at least I have a divi card:D

Right I'm off to do some "work" and try and keep cool

Was feeling fine this morning...until I walked into the office and was hit by a wall of hot air. Thought it was going to be an easy day today....but now I'm not so sure. Despite the fact that I couldn't sleep at all last night. Perhaps I had something on my mind....

I'm getting use to the idea that I could be having a girl. I've actually got no preferences either way, but I know certain member of my family would love a girl. As a result I've been wandering around this morning in a daze with a weird smile on my face. I think I like the idea.

The overall result is that I've forgotten to get anything out of the freezer for tea (whoops). And after my OH was so kind as to make me my lunch too.

    Morning all

Really overcast and oppresive here this morning - had 2 rumbles of thunder about 11pm but no rain.....ah well.

Only the one little one here today and we're potty training so that'll be fun...all the little ones I have at the moment are the same age so I seem to be constantly clearing up something/running for the potty etc. I've drawn up some sticker charts to help them all - although most of the stickers end up on noses, in hair, on my furniture..............ooooooooh :j :j it's just started to rain.

Got some pork mince out of the freezer earlier - not quite sure what I'll do with it yet - something with pasta I think.

Jobs to do today - tackle the ironing when little one has her nap and clean the front of my cooker...it's looking a bit grubby.

Hope you all have a great day.

PP - Hope you feel better later.

    :hello: Morning!

((((((HUGS))))) PP hope you feel better soon.

Scuzz - Glad you are feeling brighter today, they say laughter is a great cure all!

Catowen - Please can you send some of your rain over here! We didn't get any rain at all in Essex.

Essex girl - good luck with the ironing pile! I did mine in front of the fan!

I am off to Wales on Friday to stay with my big sister so have to start packing today. I always enjoy time with her as she also likes charity shops and car boot sales. She is also very, very good at making cards so I hope to learn a bit as well. She lives close to the sea and one of the first things I have to do when I get there is to walk down to the beach, sit on the rocks and breathe in all the fresh sea air.

Other jobs today are to send back an outdoor drying rack for clothes that I got from Lakeland in the sale, it is huge  , more suitable for a block of flats than a semi!:D Some shopping at Aldi and a sort out of my scrapbooking bits.

Have a lovely day if you can!

    Good morning everyone!

It's a lot cooler today, so far :D

Slept until 8.20!! Still must have needed it, didn't even hear DH get up and leave.

Feel so awake and refreshed I'm going to go do some housework and even the ironing.!!

Hope you feel better soon PP, that's really miserable!

It's yonks since I posted on the daily thread, must've been doing too much work. Working from home today, as my car has gone in for a service.
It's another scorcher here, but there are threats of rain/thunder storms for later.
Got some washing to throw in the machine, and organise my stuff for a couple of days away - I'm in Hereford tomorrow & London on Friday. What sort of fool organises an all day meeting in Central London on a Friday? I can't get out of it, but I have said I'm leaving by 3 at the latest.
Chicken cordon bleu for tea, so I must remember to make the breadcrumbs at some point.
Have a lovely day, hugs to those feeling lousy.

    Hi there folks

well still as warm here although last nite was the worst yet.

We had a fantastic BBQ yeterday bit by the time I got the car to get to the supermarket most of the stuff was gone so spent a fortune getting food.....Not a happy bunny here! My monthly budget is being thrown out the window and not been on it for a month yet.

On the plus side OH starts a weeks holiday on Sat  and we are off to Prestatyn on monday:T . Can't wait some quality time with the family away from the house. If anyone has ideas what I can do to amuse a 2 year old outside of the camp please let me know. He really loves animals.

Todays tasks are to start the ironing can't see the basket now :p and clean around downstairs. Need to plant some hanging baskets but to be honest have not had the energy to do it lately.

    Breakfast: Teacake and coffee
    Lunch:leftover pasta salad
Dinner: Leftover BBQ corn on the cob and salad

I look so healthy eating that stuff, wish I was feel so in need of a diet. DS2 is now 4 months and I feel like a beached whale at the min. I NEED WILLPOWER!!!:rotfl: Wish I could remember where I left it :p

Well off for now as DS1 is in the garden and I can hear the dog yelp.

Out to make the most of the weather before it turns.

Well if you ever find it tell me where you found it because when bean comes along I'm sure to lose mine as well. So any suggestions on where I might find it again would come in very handy.

Well that'll teach me!! Doorbell just rang, answer peering round it and it's the gas meter reader! Had to let him in and me wearing a hardly there nightie!! Not see-through, you understand, just very very skimpy! Not a pretty sight for him!

I'm off to shower and put some clothes on, and it's started raining here :D
