Well that storm didn't last long!!:( Sun is out, ground all dried up and the temperature is rising again!! I so wanted the cool to last a bit, I'm not designed for hot weather. I really should have done some housework during the storm, but I've missed my chance now!

Did clean and organise fridge/freezer this morning. Now that was bliss!:D The kitchen faces north, never sees a ray of sun. Great in summer but bloody cold in winter!!!:rotfl:

    Pah @ storms

It all clouded over - the sun went in - the temperature dropped and all in time for the school run.....

Good on one hand....kids will be cooler but on the other hand - we'll get soaked..

So what happens - walk out the door - the sun bursts back through the clouds and the tempertature rises with each step I take.

I'm going to have a sulk now - I want thunder.....*wobbles bottom lip*

We've had no rain, no storms and it's still bloomin hot!

Just got a copy of the Ofsted report for DD's school and it's outstanding although I don't think I would agree with their description of our area being of significant economic and social deprivation :( But 90% of the marks were Grade 1 so I'm glad to know I made the right choice. Trouble is all that good work will come to naught when she has to go up in 2 years time as both the Junior schools are crap!
