Morning to everyone who follows, or ive cross posted with!!!!
Well, im up, but not quite with it at the moment!!! Saying that, i have emptied the DW and put the WM on, so not doing too badly. Have lots of children here today, so not much housework will be done, think another trip to the park will help tire them all out, and then when the little one has a sleep i can settle them down with a dvd!!!
Right, DS has appeared, im getting him to make his own breakfast now, although im still supervising (otherwise cereal and milk all over the worktops!!!) and yesterday i was teaching them both to put their dirty dishes in the DW (i tell myself its teaching, and not me being lazy!!!)
Hope everyone has a lovely day, can someone send the rain down here please, i guess we will get it at the weekend when we dont want it!!!!!
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

Morning catowen:hello: If I had any rain, I'd certainly share but not a whisper of any, not even when ny SIL 2miles away had a downpour!! I didn't get a drop!
Kazonline congrats on finishing the fence!!See you don't just watch these programs, you do!!
Mrsmortenharket When I saw that first thought was OMG manicdays will NOT be happy with that!! The relief to see the sig underneath!:rotfl: Just one question, does he know?:rotfl:You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
Morning all :hello: :grouphug: to everyone 'cause I'm in that sort of mood :rotfl:
Well DD came home from MIL's yesterday with chicken pox  She's covered in spots the poor thing and itching like mad! MIL had rang to warn me so OH took me shopping when he got in from work to buy cotton wool, calamine lotion (DD is calling it caramel lotion :rotfl::rotfl: ), ice cream, chocolate, soap powder etc. We didn't do a BIG shop, but thankfully I can still manage meals from what we now have in so in theory I should be able to get away with no shopping again (except for bread / milk / fruit ) until sometime next week, if not the week after
WM is on, 1 load of towels from yesterday are back out on the line as they weren't dry when I brought them in (that taught me to do the washing early in the day instead of late afternoon) but since the forcast is "AM showers" I'm thinking the load in the machine might just be sorted and then have to wait to be put out until later on as its dull (cloudy) but warm here
I have a list of jobs I want to get done, so after I've gotten my breakfast I might sweep the livingroom/kitchen floor before DD gets up...then again I better go check on her as I haven't heard a sound from her room all night.
Later :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Morning everyone,
Not too hot here yet, and hoping it stays this way. I am getting only minimum jobs done in this heat and |I like to use my holidays to catch up on jobs around the house.
Twink, enjoy the gardening , I shall be out late weeding too.
Catowen - do keep getting the children to do their own jobs, its so good for their self confidence
Troo you made me alaugh about your son.
I am just trying to get myself off mse to do some gardening and a huge pile of ironing. Need to put wm on too. I bought lots of veggies in Lidls yesterday, so am going to make up some pasta bakes etc.
One of my cats insisted I get up about 6am to let her out, so have been entering some competitions since. I used to do this reguarly but don't often get time now. Miss the nice prizes though!0 -
Morning everyone
Not feeling too great today. My asthma kicked off last night thanks to the delightful heavy weather we're having right now. I wish we could have a big storm to clear the air.
Hoping to leave at 1pm today - lunch break:D
Only one more day then the weekend, but working on Sunday
Must check the raspberry bush in the garden later if it's not raining. Already had three crops from it
Hugs to any who needs themComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Morning everyone
Did anyone miss me? ...... No?.... oh, OK then
Hello to all the newbies who have popped up this past few days and ((hugs)) to those in need. I've skimmed through a few threads so I know there are those out there who are not well at all and suffering at the hands of others/the incompetant.
I've been so busy this past few days. Mr TM has been away so I've been taking the boys for days out - fun cheap stuff like flying kites on the beach and picnics. I'm also putting all my spare time into setting my business up. My mind hasn't been used this hard since before DS1 was born :rotfl: It's great fun though and really exciting. Even went out yesterday and bought a new desk and some lovely stationery - yes, I now own pukka pads - 3 of them:D Just have to sort this room out so I have room to put the desk in - Mr TM is going to have to lump it but some of his books are going to be moved to another room!! So, that's tonight's job.
Like lots of you, I have a mountainous ironing pile again cos it's been too hot to iron .... ok, I've been too busy with other things...I did manage to clean the boys rooms the other day - but with lots of little friends spending their days here, it hasn't lasted long
Today I'm over to mum's to do her cleaning and shopping and also take her PC in to be fixed. Will put SC on in a bit with some bol sauce so Mr TM need not worry his pretty (?) little head about tea. DW will go on after breakfast and I'm sure I'll be putting BM on at some point today. I have a load of washing to hang out when I venture outside - lovely, more for me to iron
Well, I'll get on. We haven't had any rain and the white clouds are burning back to show some lovely blue sky. Hope you all have a good day and I'll try to get on here again soon.
:hello:

Yes, yes, yes of course he knows! And he likes being tied up in the cellar. Well the screaming's stopped anyway!
I am still soooo tired. Think its the heat. DW emptied & on a hot cleaning cycle with vinegar & soda crystals. Towels in the WM.
Am taking the kids to the park today & taking a picnic with us. We haven't had any storms here yet....
Also had better take the kids books back to the library as the childminder wants to take the kids to the library tomorrow.
Breakfast: museli (me) kids Tesco value coco pops
Lunch: picnic stuff, sarnies, fruit, cheese etc...
Dinner: something with chicken for the meat eaters & feta couscous for me.
Have a good day all

Morning all
Woke to the sound of rain around 5am - although you'd not know it ever happened as it's all dried up.
No real plans for today, it's still overcast so we'll see how it pans out - DD's want a day indoors, they're both so tired from all this heat but I'll try and get them out for a walk or to the park for a bit to run of some energy.
I've got loads of frozen raspberries to use so might make some muffins later. Got some chicken breast out for dinner last night but no one fancied them so need to make them into a cheesy chicken lasagne for tomorrow night. DH is out at the races tonight on a works thing, so won't need feeding, DDs and I can just have "spotty tato" and salad...their fav. (spotty tato is cold mashed potato with peas mixed through it, served with a blob of salad cream)
I've just had some craft paper delivered so might even get cracking with more cards this afternoon - trying to build up a decent supply to do a craft fair with nearer Christmas, I'd got 47 made in the last few weeks but then a couple of friends went through and bought some (I'm not complaining) so need to replenish.
Hugs to all that need them...hope you all have a great day.....oh and by the way......Morten and me, well - let's just say - Manic - I'm sorry but he's mine, all mine and I'm not willing to share."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0
