It's, how did they put it the other day? Ah, yes 'sultry' here tonight - ie hot, and stickyRain is forecast for tomorrow morn - hopefully you guys will allow it to drift here for a wee while.... That said, the 'overview' shows yucky weather for most of the week  Hope not as I'd really like to finish the garden if possible...
Still, whatever will be will be...

Morning Jockettuk, Yes some of us are up.
We had to return from a friend's loaned house in a holiday area yesterday evening. We'd found a very serious flea infestation there, and decided we couldn't stay. Now I've told the rest of the world, I have to figure out how to break it to her. She's away on holiday at the moment.
As for today... more relaxed than you I suspect.
As I'm relatively new to the board, I don't know where you're moving to, can you share that?
Good luck anyway (with move mainly but shopping trip too if you need it.)

Morning Jockettuk, Topher and Twink :hello: And everyone else :hello:
It's finally raining properly - big fat juicy raindropsIt's lovely and cool, I went out and stood in it for a couple of minutes.
I've got loads of ironing to do, I usually iron it as soon as it comes off the line but it's been too hot lately. My plan today is to nip into work, pick up the post, print a few invoices and come straight back home. Then iron, mop the floor, hoover the whole house, lunch, then work in the afternoon.
I had a chat with my son, he's arguing about how much keep I'm charging him. I said £30 per week, he said it's too much, as there's 4 of us in the house it will be fairer to pay a quarter. So I worked it out and said "Yes, you're right, your way is much fairer. That'll be £70.86 per week please." He then agreed to £30 :rotfl:Bulletproof0 -
DOH
Well its early,
I'm contemplating feeding the puppy and taking him out, looks as if I could do with waking up first.
Thanks, and good luck.

Love the response Troo.
We've agreed on 1/3 of income, so when son lost his job that was £15.
He's now in employment so we'll have to see what it's going up to.
Son doesn't complain. He had a dose of reality a few years ago when he moved out.

Morning everyone
I feel terrible today, had a row with OH last night about all this flippin agro with the HA and neighbours, we had no dinner because of this, I then fell asleep on the sofa he went to bed and I woke up at 3am this am laying on the sofa still in my work clothes all the lights on etc I then got into bed for the alarm to go off at 6am:eek:
This HA thing gets worse, I mailed the housing officer yesterday with pictures of other people parking on the grass ( for what my oh got done for) Had a reply saying it's not their land and for me to speak to the council:mad: I know for a fact it is owned by the HA I even have it in writing. Should I write back? IK feel so so:mad: as we are being victimised.
Nevermind enough of my troubles, I have a long day today off to Margate to see an architect.
Still not talking to OH and the place is a tip but I have had enough now and I am not cleaning it anymore, the washing up can pile sky high for all I care right now:eek:
Hope everyone is well:D
Moggins I will definalty call the web site you gave me today

Posting this morning without having read all of yesterday's so if I've missed anything big after my morning post, sorry!:D
Good morning! Went to bed just after 10 last night, which is unheard of for me! Never go before midnight normally, but boy do I feel better!! Might even try that again.:D
Troo, I so love it when you prove to the little darlings how cheaply they get away with it at home!! Though to be fair none of mine have ever argued with the figure I've set, and DS3 actually refused to pay as LITTLE as he said I'd asked for. Strange lad insisted I took £15 more per week!! DS2 on the other hand paid up while muttering that I was bleeding him dry, until we did the costings! (He was on appalling money and lots went on travel costs)
Ageandjo just not getting better for you at the moment is it? Don't have any words of wisdom, just hang in there and remember, we're here for venting off some steam!!
Going to go have a quick look at yesterday's postings before getting cracking.
Have a good day, and hello to all that follow.
PS No you're alright jockettuk, barriers are down, we've all put in a good word for you:rotfl:You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0
