Rzl hoping your's is good news when you speak to the agent today. Look forward to your post!

Ajax - many best wishes for Saturday! I'm getting married too - on Saturday! Hence why I'm on here............... :D:D

Penny Pincher - hugs to you.

I've got to try and pack for our honeymoon as I'm scooting off to my parents' house this afternoon. I won't be back home for 3 weeks - but I will make sure that I use their internet access to get a bit of relaxation!

I went to see my Chief Bridesmaid yesterday as her and her husband had a bbq for lunch. OH was invited too, but he's got an exam on Thursday morning that he's paying for so needs to pass! It was lovely to see her and just have a little bit of a relax too. I was completely exhausted when I got back and managed to sleep for 2 hours on the sofa!

I've weighed myself this morning and ! I think that the dog will be getting plenty of walks when I get to the parents!

    See you all later

    Good Morning Everyone:j

Lost internet connection AGAIN yesterday, due to orange having problems with BT lines??

Had a nice weekend, cloudy here so was cooler, took kids to Greenwich yesterday, went in Maritime Museum and Park (of course!) then McDs for tea, ride on DLR train - so that tired them out last nite!;)
Done ironing last nite whilst watching Lost in Translation on new E4 - I cant say I understood what was going on???

Had shower and have coloured my hair this morning so now look abit more respectable:rotfl: made sandwiches for lunches, put ironing away, just gotta get changed for work before nanny comes to look after DS. Paddling pool is out ready for todays hot weather.

((Hugs)) to Smashing blouse for funeral and PP for hospital.

Hope everyone has a lovely day!

Morning :D ... Didn't get on my PC at all over the weekend, so have just been flicking through the stuff I've missed ... First things first ... belated HAPPY 40TH TO SNOWYOWL AND TAPLADY!!!!!! :j :j :j ... I was supposed to have today off work, but cancelled it cos of my workload this week - instead I was in the office by 8:20am  so I can justify taking a 2 hour lunch break to go to a lunchtime concert at the other side of town (which was the main reason I'd originally booked the day off) ... Still, the more leave I can save up, the better - as I'm definitely planning to move house this leave year (whether the flat works out or not) and will need plenty of leave available to see solicitors, pack, move, sort out utilities, get stuff delivered and so on ... Phoned up the HA agent just now, as he's back in the office today ... Just needed to make sure all the info I faxed him on Friday got through OK ... He says I'll hear about the flat later in the week ... Plans for this week ... LOTS :D ... Might go out this evening - think a friend might be able to get me some free tickets to a ridiculously expensive and overpriced opera I'd really like to see ... tomorrow, standing room at an opera ... Wednesday, a late-night Prom ... Thursday housework  ... Friday after-work drinks (one colleague is leaving, another is off on maternity leave) ... Saturday standing room at an opera ... Sunday somebody's birthday party! ... Thank goodness it all calms down for a few weeks after that! ... VICKY and AJAX - good luck for your weddings!!!! ... that reminds me ... need to check out the wedding list of some friends of mine, so I can budget for it  ... Gotta go ... back later ... Rzl xxx

    Morning all

Hugs to PP for the hospital and Smashing Blouse for the funeral.

Not a good day in the moggins household either I'm afraid. I had a massive row with XDH last night, which is highly unusual for us but he'd taken my 12 year old son to a party and allowed him to drink! So after a huge row he then went off with said son, leaving his fiancee to drive round and round looking for him as he didn't have either his mobile or his keys. I then got a phone call saying he wasn't bringing him back till this morning so I threatened him with calling the police (not the best move on my part but I was absolutely raging by that point), luckily his fiancee caught up with him and brought the pair of them back to my house, XDH is coming back today to talk and sort the situation out. It really didn't help that XDH had been drinking and he gets really silly when he's had a few.

I just have to explain to him today that it's hard on me when I am trying to keep raising an Aspie son on the straight and narrow and he gets to play the fun guy all the time, and a 12 year old drinking beer is not acceptable to me, I keep trying to laugh off his stupidity but I just can't be doing with this anymore, either he starts acting like a father instead of a mate or I will be pulling the reins in.

Sorry for the waffle but DH was completely useless last night, he barely spoke to me and made me feel like it was all my fault so I have no one else to talk to this morning.

HUGS MOGGINS - I really feel for you, my father was just like you ex sounds and when we used to stay with him for the odd weekend he was EXTREMELY irresponsible. To be honest it scared me, even at 13, so you going mad at your ex is ABSOLUTELY the right thing to do.

    Stick to your guns girl.

Morning all :hello: I've tried reading through the thread but nothing is registering today so :grouphug: to all :o

Weekend away was okay, left 30 minutes before OH was planning and 30 minutes after I wanted to leave so we were doing well for a change. :rotfl: Forgot a couple of things for DD but she'll be fine without them. Made staying-over plans for the next two trips as well and had to write them down so I don't get confused. Will have to enter them into Outlook so I remember when it comes to packing! You see, if we stay at Grandad-IL's I have to take a hairdryer, a towel for my hair (with it being dyed I don't like to use his :o plus he never puts one out that is big enough to wrap around my head!), any hairspray etc etc with me, whereas if I stay a MIL's I can borrow just about anything since there is MIL & 2xSILs :rotfl:Now if I could just slim down to a size 12 (which is NEVER going to happen with these childbearing hips!) I could go with just my clean underwear and borrow clothes :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

DD is away until late Wednesday or Thursday daytime so I have a couple of days to my self:j:T:j:T:j Now originally I was doing to do some DIY as there is still quite a bit of painting to do BUT I decided this morning to say "s*d it :D". Woke up with cramp at 6.30 , went back to bed until 7.30 then I came down for a drink and that was it  So today I'm doing NOTHING except washing/ironing (only so it doesn't have to be done later in the week ;) ) and meals ;) So far I have put the quilts out on the line to air properly, sorted out the non-iron-washing that was on the maiden all weekend, washed 1 load of darks and now a light wash is in. Still to do are 1 mixed load, 2 x bedding and maybe a towel wash but we'll see.

Off to have a wander around t'internet. Laters
