Morning!

feeling very OS this morning..cos its sunday.. was up early and i have put the breadmaker on! Only the 2nd time ive used it... 1st time was a disaster! :rotfl: Hoping this turns out to be better...

EEK! Literally this second realised i forgot to get the chicken out for tea tonight!! Oh nooooo!! :doh: (thats cos i fell asleep on the sofa and OH just left me there instead of waking me up when he went up to bed :rolleyes: )

Dunno what were doing today... blazing sun outside and blue sky without a cloud though so hopefully something nice and outsidey! Although hayfever is playing up already... so maybe not the best idea :rolleyes:

Morning all.....(((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))) to those who need them

We had two very heavy rain falls yesterday, one in the morning when I was at the local market, good job I had flip flops on, it was like a river, the water just flowed through my feet!!!!! The second casued OH's bowls match to be abandonded, so I had to shoot back from my friends to pick him up. Did manage to get her on line first though!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sheets off the bed for wash tonight, its dull looks as though it could rain again, heaven knows we need it the lawn has deep cracks in it, I know it will recover once we get a decent rain fall, but we really do need some of the wet stuff, have managed to keep the rest of the garden ok with water from the bathroom and what we have stored in the barrels, they are full again after yesterdays efforts.

OH is at the allotment picking beans and digging spuds for tonights supper, nothing like home grown fresh from the soil!!!!

As it was cooler last night did a little more of my cushion, need to try and finish it today.

Right off for my daily dose of caffine.......

I GOT A PUKKA PAD yesterday!, and also the last bottle of suntan lotion (free sun voucher) at superdrug.
car park was chockerblock with everyone going to NEXT sale!

my living room has had a tornado erupt in it.. 6 11 yr olds who forgot to sleep and had a midnight feast all through the night.. they all moaning now they tired hee hee me im shattered as i didnt get any sleep listening out for them all night.. not used to more than one child in the house

Get them sorted to day sort the house and kitchen out and then pack some more boxes, come overcast just now so dont know if we going to get some rain or not

Good morning everyone,

Well, managed to stay in bed til 9.30, and its very strange here, with it just being me!!!! Ive already got my bedding in the WM, have had a cup of tea and some toast, and im just about to jump in the shower, now ive caught up on the mornings thread!!!! Will then need to hang bedding out, and put another load in before walking up to my friends house to pick up my car!!!! Still feels really strange not to have my 2 here, cant wait for them to get home tonight!!!!!

Kaz - i think you also have my hangover _pale_ , i really should feel dodgy this morning, the amount i put away last night, but so far, i feel fine!!!! Hope you feel better soon :grouphug:

Right, better go and get in that shower, the bit i hate about going out is that horrible smokey smell left in the morning!!!! Hope everyone has a lovely day

Been up a couple of hours just mooching on here when I should be cleaning as the house is a tip:rolleyes:
Hair my hair done yesterday which I was pleased with but I hate all the gunk they squirt in it, makes it feel dirty so I will be in the shower soon washing it.

:rolleyes: My dogs have terrible wind today.... everytime I do this:rolleyes: means they have trumped:D

Friend came round about 5pm we all went out to get a takeaway about 8ish when we came home the dogs bed was everywhere millions of tiny balls everywhere like it was snowing:eek: took me ages to clear them up and they are still around now:eek:

weather is overcast today so no beach for us just cleaning me thinks

glad you enjoyed your kid-free day, it is nice to have space to go and see a film or whatever, but i know what u mean about coming home to empty house!

Morning all,

Lazy day here today - dh is safely in Japan - have promised to take the kids swimming at 12pm and then I shall settle down with some Xmas present knitting and the Open on the TV.

Defrosting a chicken for tonight - hope it cools down a bit before I cook it, although the last two nights it has been cool enough to sleep, even in the attics where we sleep and so does ds2. Talk about heat rising in a house - you can scientifically prove that here!!

Off to make pancakes for breakfast as promised and a quick leap in the shower.
