    Hi,

I hope you don't mind you crashing your community - I've just posted a brief bio on the getting to know you board. I've been reading this thread for a while and you all seem so friendly I though that i would like to join in :D .

DS has just got back from work (UNI student) and the dog woke me because he couldn't get his key to work so I thought I'd take advantage of the cooler weather to sort out the washing and clean the front room window.

May go to Milton Keynes later for a few things:eek:

    Hiya Snoozer :hello:

Oh I forget to mention earlier, we used the yogurt maker last night (left it on overnight), it's cooling as I type :T I'll have to buy some berries to stir in, I don't like it plain.

    Morning all

    Happy Birthday Taplady

    Helloooooo Snoozer

I can't believe I am up this early on a Sunday but I'm off to a bootsale, this one only happens once a month during the summer and it's always a goodie so I am keeping my eyes out for a Kenwood Chef, you never know!!

DH persuaded me to go yesterday and has said he will tackle the washing up when he gets up and he will look after DD so it's a lovely childfree morning for me. He has another concert to play this afternoon so I have to make sure I am back on time.

It's a lovely thought to know I don't have to iron the school uniforms today :) I did forget to mop the floors last night though so I will have to tackle them when I get home.

    Good Morning All

    Happy Birthday Taplady
Sorry missed yours yesterday SnowyOwl - so belated Happy Birthday :D

    Welcome Snoozer.

Its just me up at the mo and been up a while. Had a new blind fitted in the kitchen on friday so now can keep it cool in there in the morning so have been tidying that and bleached my sink. 1 load of washing finishing in a min and a couple more to do. Have also emptied and refilled the DW.

Hopefully everyone else in this house will have a really long lie in the am so I can also do some ironing, think will jump in the shower first and let hair dry whilst im doing it. I really do prefer doing things in the morning but been ironing in the evening recently as the kitchen was soo hot.

Plan to pop up our caraven today and will sit in the shade reading and listening to my new Ipod - paid for by my £2 savings. Will praps force myself to have a walk down the beach.

Need to make sure tonight that have everything ready for school tomm as DD has her leavers concert in the evening. My kids dont break up till tues also and they're not happy as seems all their other friends are on hol. Never mind at least it gives me 2 more days to catch up on the business paperwork. Another thing I must do is go thro the Tesco clubcard deals and order some vouchers for places we want to go over the hols. We are away for the first week then I tend to find that the time actually goes very quickly.

Anyway off now - apols for the long post - have a great day.

    B - everyone else cereal
    L - Bacon Rolls
D - barbequed pork loin steaks, j pots and sweetcorn.

Moggins, which car boot is that?

We dropped a couple of friends home the other day, they live in the road behind yours. I already knew the road (obviously, since I lived there for 4 years lol) but I had a proper look and I was saying to Mr troo "How are they going to fit houses there? It'll feel all squashed in. Oh it's blummin' awful" He asked me what I was prattling on about :D I said "Oh, you know that woman on MSE I told you about............." Then I stopped talking, when he hears 'MSE' his brain switches off :rotfl:

    Good morning everybody,

Happy Birthday Taplady. :bdaycake:Have a great day.

Well it's been a rainy miserable day here. Went for a walk & took the dogs & DH :D this morning. Had to wash them this arv due to their red paws. Made a choc slice this arv & then vegged out on the lounge and watched a dvd.

Last night me & DH ventured out to the hot spot on the island. The Bowls Club (which has no green):D. They had a band playing which consisted of one female & 4 males. After knocking back a few whiskeys they still sounded like crap. The female singer was pushing this side of 60.

Make sure girls, when I turn 60, don't let me wear clingy, low cut, side slitting glittery long dresses. :D Gravity isn't that kind. To make it worse she sang like cat's meowing. :p Don't worry after I picked her to bits (in my head) I moved onto the four males. ;) Not much there Snowy. :D I'm on the lookout though.

Better go and sort out some tea. Have a great sunday & ((((hugs)))) to those who need them.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Troo you should have popped in for a coffee :)

The Boot sale is supposed to be on at Crypt this morning, but I've just got ready to go and it is bucketing it down!! I've got my fingers crossed that it will stop soon as the weather forecast is for sunny spells :(
