:bdaycake: Happy Birthday snowy
Hello shortie.
i managed to get absolutely soaked while i was out. aaah bliss.
Also felt the urge to pop into the big asda at sheffield on the way home as i didn't have any food for tea, and as DH is at work, i treat myself to one of those chinese meal deals and a paper, and managed to spend £89.
i've now got two pairs of maternity shorts, 4 more tshirts that are sleeveless, and i couldn't resist a few more baby goodies, particularly a little blue duffle coat with white lining, that came complete with a little white rabbit for the pocket.
someone please confiscate my credit card, or send me some more will power before DH strangles me.
dinners almost ready, but then i guess i had best tidy the room so DH has free access for wallpaper stripping tomorrow, and hide the evidence of the shopping trip. I can justify it as i will need some cooler clothes than the stuff i have been wearing to work for the holidays.
have a great evening, and hopefully we should all be a little cooler,
Michelle, xx0 -
Happy Birthday Snowy!:bdaycake:
jockettuk - what a lovely surprise for your DD! It sounds like you've both had quite an emotional week of it.
Forgot to say that whilst I was out shopping I picked up some fab bargains! Boots are having a clearout of stock because, according to the assistant, they're making way for the Christmas stock  Anyway, I managed to snap up quite a few birthday and Christmas presents for a few people! I'm really pleased with myself   :j :j :jSealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -

Why is picking a colour scheme for our dining room proving so hard?? I've been again to the dreaded B&Q this evening and bought another load of paint testers ... mebbe just mebbe one of them will look right this time.
Right, off to make summer pudding with the organic bread I picked up from Tescos this evening for the bargain price of 15pand have a glass of the sauvignon blanc which was reduced from £8 to £3.99
