Lush...Churchmouse?? Urm, no..err..um.well,errr, perhaps maybe just a junior ranking lush??? you are still in training I think. I've had one glass (it may been a big one) and i am away with the fairies! Or leprechauns since this is Ireland...

Am getting sleepy. Is this what old age is like? When does everything start heading south? Oh hang on, I know that answer to that...it's when you're 30!!!

Yep, that's old age!! Don't be daft girl, you're a youngster yet. God there's even life in me, and my old man's not to be sneezed at!!

Taut firm bodies are very over-rated in my opinion. I shall continue my training for the next half hour or so then take to my bed, before springing back to glorious life tomorrow!!! ( sorry, make that today!)

    Morning Everyone

Cant sleep but did go to bed at 9.30 last night as not feeling too good, so not too bad.

Sorry its late, but Happy Birthday to Snowy and Taplady.

WM will be put on later and hopefully if dry will be hung on the line. Floors need a sweep and quick mop and the toilet has been cleaned.

I have my folks coming at about 9am and mum is staying with me whilst OH helps Dad collect something 35miles away. They dont visit often, as they live quite far away, and although we dont get on much (long and complicated stories) it will be lovely to see them both. Bought some mufins yesterday (their favs) and have some fresh bread, ham and salad in for sarnies. They will only be stopping a max of 3 hrs as we have friends over for dinner later-doing a buffet and everything is basically done.

I also wanted to say thanks to the person who sent me a pair of free tickets for the motorshow this week. OH and BIL are so looking forward to it...thanks again so much! Cars arent my thing really, I do like the goodfood show though and hopefully we can go later this year when its on quite locally.

Am up Kings tommorrow and am seeing 3 consultants and having an iron infusion:eek:    ....really NOT looking forward to it! Will take some leftovers of the buffet with us and they provide water/tea/coffee/choc/soup free-so I dont have tot take a flask with us:D

DD finishes school on Tuesday and Wednesday we are going over to my SIL's whilst OH goes to the show and she can keep an eye on me. It'll be nice having a natter and they have a much bigger house than us-so all the kids can run around and wear themselves out. They have a lovely large garden with a huge treehouse, but of course will slap on loads of sunscreen.

Anyway, Id best go and do some more reading for my essay due in Wednesday:o

    Breakie:Muffin and Fresh Coffee/Fruit salad
    Lunch: Ham, salad sarnies
Dinner: Buffet (baked spuds, couscous, eggs, quiche, ham, cheese, salad, coleslaw, potatoe salad)

Have a great day everyone and hugs to all.

    PP
    xx

Morning Catowen and Penny Pincher!:hello: and many thanks for your birthday greetings.

Happy birthday to Taplady - have a fantastic day Taplady!!

I didn't intend getting up this early - I was on here until 1.00 am (it was Churchmouse who was leading me astray...it's true you know, ie that it's the quiet ones...!!!). Amazingly my head is clear and I actually feel rested. I'll probably need a nap mid-afternoon though...

I've just paid a visit to the kitchen and it looks like there has been some sort of explosion there, as there is not a spare square inch of worktop visible to the naked eye. At some point I'm going to have to sort it out, just don't fancy it right now. Once I've done that I've got quite a few other things to do. One of the first I guess would be to sort out things which need to be removed from the house. I've already got a box of stuff for the charity shop, but think I'll add a bag of clothes and vacate a lot of space in the wardrobe. Later on I'll go for a little drive in the country somewhere - and find a country park to go for a nice long walk. Fingers Xed it doesn't rain, though it did rain quite a lot during the night.

That's enough early morning waffle - have a fab Sunday everyone.
