    Morning!

    I thought hooters were noses!!!!

No work today, well paid work anyway! ;) Still got to be a mother & 'cleaner'!

Off to town this morning. Pick up prescriptions. My ds (age 4) has hayfever. Got some non drowsy stuff prescribed for the day & some eye drops. Got to get my script as well. Its annoying as they are only giving me 1 month at a time (prozac). Think its cos I'm on such a high dose but its so expensive for the prescription each month.

Also put holiday film in last week so shall pick the films up. Be nice to look at them!

I've got so much housework to do. I must crack on with that.

1st need to get the kids dressed & to school/nursery.

Take care all & keep cool!

It's more of an american word I think. They even have a famous restaurant called Hooters over in USA where the girls dress to show off their best assets.;) I suppose with all the USA comedy, drama shows on their words become a bit more main stream to us. Generally they call them boobs here.

    :A Good morning everyone,

Lovely and warm here too (i think im the only one enjoying the heat at the moment!!!!) although it does look like it will rain at any minute, i might have to turn the light on in a minute, the cloud thats on its way is that dark  !!!! The forcast is for thunder storms tho, just hope they hold off until after the school run. As the weather has been so bad here recently (more rain than sun) ive suggested people start clubbing together to send me on holiday again, as the 2 weeks we were away were lovely, and as soon as i get back, it starts to rain!!! No joy pursading people yet though
Need to go into town at some point today, need to get DDs red apples, and i must pay some money into the bank (pay day yesterday:T ) as i have loads of bills due to be paid  . Want to pick up some salad stuff for dinner tonight as well. Im making shepherds pie, not sure how this will go down with DD tho, as she doesnt like mashed potato, but im hoping if i grill it so its nice and crispy on top, she might not realise:rolleyes:

    Morning all

I couldn't get to sleep because of the heat last night and now I feel terrible :( Lovely DH has got up to take DD to school for me, I think I'll go back to bed.

DD has hayfever, I haven't got the foggiest idea what to do for her as she's the child to ever get it in my family, luckily DH suffers too so is helping her a lot more than I can.

I had to shove the cat in the bath last night as she couldn't cope with the heat and she collapsed on the kitchen floor panting. Luckily after the dowsing and getting some water into her with the aid of a syringe she recovered by the time I went to bed and is very happy again this morning.

PP I just wanted to add that I think that was lovely of your DD and LOL at the "questions" they forget that we've all been through this before, were you really not shocked or were you just keeping the "mummy" face on :D

Today's the day of the big scan. Will report back as soon as I can, but chances are it won't be until later this afternoon. I'm a bit nervous and a bit excited. Its just annoying to have to hang around here for half the day waiting for the time to go. Am trying to get a glass of milk down me at the moment...isn't going too well.

Did some washing yesterday....dried in about 2 seconds. Am doing the rest today.

Can't think about meals at the moment ... far too excited.

    Thanks for the good wishes.

lisa-manicdays......if its a prescription you'll have permanently/for the forseeable have you looked to see if it would be cheaper to get a pre pay card?? you can get them for 6 or 12 months. i know the 12 month one is £95 as we have it for my husband and it works out so much cheaper for us,his meds normally add up to over £200 if we were to get them seperately per prescription!!
