    Hi there everyone

Dorry, how terrible for you to lose your father. I'm sorry that this has happened. Wishing you lots of strength for the coming days and weeks and beyond.

cha97michelle - I am quite frankly shocked that nobody offered you a seat! I take it from previous posts that your bump is quite pronounced - what terrible manners.

My muffins went down well at w*** but I have decided not to bring future batches to give to my colleagues. Most people are gracious but there are some who when they hear that there is "free" food come galloping to help themselves and don't bother to say thanks. Thanks is just one word and it's free and easy to say, I can't quite understand why not everyone uses it:confused:. No more cakes, they can make their own (or more likely buy them).

ageandjo - I hope your horse is OK. What mehefin says has got me worried on your behalf.

Nicki - oh swoon, Il Divo!! Have a fantastic time. I like Sebastien the most! If anyone is interested have a look at the autobiography bit of this: http://www.ildivo.com/ - they sing opera style, and it is incredible, has to be heard to be believed (though BargainRzl may not be impressed)!

Got lots of cleaning to do tonight...want to get as much as possible done over the weekend so that I can enjoy my free time next week. I have a list as long as your arm of things to do - eg order blinds for all windows, get rid of clothes that don't fit any more (nearly everything...), go carpet shopping etc etc etc - I'm going to be busy, but I do want to spend some time being lazy as well.

    Bye for now all.

(((((((DORRY)))))))) It is awful, I know, when you are not expecting it. I won't try to offer an "helpful advice" - just hugs. The next few days will probably go by on autopilot anyway.

just an update to let you know that tonites dockrock concert is UB40.

ooo they just started, sound good! singing "There's a Rat in me Kitchen what am I gonna do?" - I'm sure I heard someone shout out put it in the Slow Cooker!!! ha ha

snowy -agree with you on "thanks" - funny enough i was only saying that yesterday - at checkout at asda, put stuff on conveyorbelt, someone else behind me put stuff on, then a guy came up with only cap & bottle water so the person behind said they could go infront of them, when it was my turn, he shoved his stuff in the cashiers face, she looked at me and said "are you together?" (knowing full well we werent, but embarrassed) i said no, but you might as well serve him anyway he's not got much, he handed her loads of change to sort out, then went - NO thankyou to anyone! how rude! gets my goat!

    Good evening everyone,

Well, not such a good day here, started when i was making muffins with the little ones, put them in the oven to find them staying as flat as pancakes, then realised i had forgotton to add baking powder :o !!! My friend then rang to say the planned meal for tomorrow night (my 2 are both going to stay with their dad (DD doesnt normally go, but has decided to go this time:confused: )so i am having a child free weekend!!) and it turns out that no one else has been able to get a babysitter:mad: , actually i was more upset than angry, we arranged this about a month ago, so was not a happy bunny. To cap it all, whilst the little ones were eating their lunch, i thought i would whip the hoover around, i had just started when it started to smoke and then caught fire:eek: !!!!! I kept calm, switched it off and then pulled the plug out the wall. The fire had gone out on its own, luckily, but taking no chances i stuck it outside the front door, and its still there now!!!! Very scary, although one of the little ones saw it happen and thought it was great fun:confused: !!!!
Anyway, my friend felt so bad about tomorrow night, she has roped her other half to babysit (she hadnt needed to find a sitter as dinner was to be at her house) both his and her children so we can go out together, shes such a good friend:j , so we are going to the cinema and then having something to eat. Im going to drive as neither of us have much money, it will just be nice to get out without the children (to see a film with numbers, rather than letters!!!!) and will also take my mind off being on my own, since i had the children DD has always stayed with me, bar once last year when she stayed at her dads (decided she didnt like it so wouldnt go again!!!)so its a bit daunting to think im going to be on my own:sad: !!!!
Well, better go, having an early night, as we will be getting up early to go to the Next sale!!!!!
Hope everyone has a lovely evening, (((hugs))) to all those who need one,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
