Morning all

Still ill. Chesty cough has now developed which is delightful.

Had a nose in somerfield yesterday :eek: couldn't believe how expensive some of the stuff was. They've got rid of their loyalty card now too.

brokenwings how do you find the energy for all that so early? I'm up at 4 daily, but feel like death warmed up and just want to flop!!! Hats off to you

Still waiting for the weather to cool a bit before I hit the kitchen for cheese scone making

Not really planning much for when I get home. Just relaxing and getting some sleep

penelope.. tears, my dd had her leavers show last night and both me and her crying as we also leaving the area in 2 weeks

her leavers assembly this morning will probably be tearful she has warned me to go out if im going to cry lol

will pick her up and say goodbye to the people she has grown up with as they all going to different schools..

oh my baby is growing up.. thank god i only got one child as doing this loads of times would make me a emotional wreck lol

scuzz - early a.m has always been my time of day. i tend to go to bed at 9pm lol - have always been awake around 4am except for the dead of winter, but tended to avoid doing too much activity that others could see as the neighbours used to think i was some sort of weirdo eccentric lol

i am now of an age where i dont care what they think - and i just get up and do what i want to do when i want to do it lol

Hiya everyone,

Another freezing day here in Oz. . Hope all you hotties get some relief soon. Had a late start this morning due to refining my networking skills :rolleyes:. Well YS has been released from hospital. Tried his home number before but hasn't arrived soon so will call soon. Sorted out my budget today & went for a long walk with the doggies. Rang a girlfriend and we're doing lunch next Thursday.

Scuzz I find sticking your head over a basin with hot water & some eucalpytus oil works great. Put a towel over your head & breathe deeply. Really makes the gunk of your chest come up.

lol kids we spend most of the time dissagreeing, its not a argument its a disagreement she says. and then this week ive been so emotional friends ringing me to ask if im ok lol..

just dropped her off as the school gates and watched her walk in (she a helper in the mornings) and thought abt her first day. roll on secondary school and the attitude that brings with it ..

Hi again ... After much hassle (phone numbers not working etc :rolleyes:) I have spoken to a lady at the HA ... She said she could pass my problem on to her supervisor who could "try" to get my application processed urgently ... So I said "Could I please SPEAK to your supervisor then" ... which I did ... Supervisor will sort it and call me back before 12 noon ... Fingers crossed everybody ... oh I'm sorry, your fingers were already crossed ... Phew ... I NEED this to work out ... I NEED to move out of my flea-pit accommodation ... Sounds promising but AAAAAAARGH this is so stressful
