Perhaps I'll leave the Ann Summers shop until they are back in school :D

    But it's educational!!!

It's August 31st then, not July 31st? (Asking because there's a festival on until 6th August) Cardiff is close to where I am so just let me know what sort of thing you want to do on the 31st and I'll tell you as much as I know. Are you planning on hitting the shops (great shopping there - even a next clearance shop in the city center!) or would you prefer to do something else - or a mixture of both (you'll need stamina!)

    I've been Money Tipped!
Just popped on to say dd is ok and home, sound asleep in bed having taken the painkillers she came home with. So far so good! Thank you for all the good wishes! Hope all is ok with Elonas daughter as well. It is such a worry when they are poorly no matter how grown up they are.

Kazonline, Ann Summers indeed!!:naughty: What would a nice girl like you know about Ann Summers:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: And as for encouraging the innocent moggins to visit such an establishment with children in tow well.........

Some of us are going to be too busy making welshcakes for the foreseeable (come on one of you teachers and correct that terrible spelling!!) future to go near an Ann Summers shop! DH has come home and scoffed the lot!!!

He who says "I'm not a cakey sort of person", and it's true he doesn't like cake much, has eaten all that were left!! When I complain he airily says can't you can make some more? I really like those! Bit of a double edged sword there! I can see myself chained to the kitchen for evermore! That'll teach me to be so successful!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Rzl the flat looks great! Everything crossed you get flat 1!! Well other than times when I need uncrossed fingers, you know wine, the loo, eating etc:D

Hope the post-op girls are doing OK and are not in too much painicon9.gif

Ooh, nearly time for my program, so byee!

PS hope banana bread has turned out well, card sounds really great, teach will love it!!

Thanks BargainRzl for posting the pictures. The flat looks nice. Hope you get the other bit sorted first thing in the morning. The ground floor would be better anyway as it will be easier to hump groceries. I didn't mean that in the rude sense either. :D

Kiwi You'll have to put up some photo's of your new house. God I'm such a nosy parker. It's just that you had so much hassle getting a house, I'd love to see the final one.

WM on. Lovely sunny day here but still pretty cool. :p Going for a walk shortly with the dogs and then I have to trim them. I usually get a guy to do all that but it's left to me now. I get all itchy afterwards so will have a shower. Off to have a surf. Hope you all get a good night's sleep. Byeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Lol, churchmouse - I did warn you that they don't last! I think if he wants you to cook more he should treat you to that 'griddle' :D
Banana loaf is smelling far too nice. It's 'well done' around the dges as usual - but i know it's my want for it that's saying it's not good enough for the teacher ;)
desperately want to go to bed, but DS2 isn't back from the gig yet - i can see me waking at my desk in the morning! 3_8_12v.gif

Off to raid the cupboards to see if there's anything sweet...

    Morning all

Well I think last night was the hottest I have been in bed this year ( and i mean temperature wise NOT that im a hotty lol ) so i gave up around 4 am.

Walked the dog much to the annoyance of the foxes, pheasants and rabbits, then baked a quiche, an apple pie and some currant buns. Now the WM is on and the only thing left on my to do list today is the ironing.

In a few mins I am going to sit outside and have my nice crispy cold cornflakes and iced tea. Even though the sky is very cloudy - its so muggy!!

Anyway I just thought Id get the thread started
off to browse the end of yesterdays threads now - so i hope you all have alovely day and bbl.
