Have not long put the bm on and need to get started on dinner, before DDs moan at me.

Mum and dad came over today, and it was nice to see them [apart from their bickering  They're worse than my girls :D]

I have a nice new shiny microwave, but will have to read the instructions. Some cheese on toast done in the grill part later, for supper, I think :j

Have had a problem with one of our drains, and the neighbour who has poured fat down it  Have had some good advice though, from the board :)

Has been a wet day here and likely to be even wetter tomorrow. The snow is thawing pretty quickly though, so hopefully back to normal come Monday :)

Thanks Sister Cas, I think it'd the deafness getting to me, that and the lack of money, lol.

When I was in labour with my 4th I was offered gas and air from the tube you grip with your teeth, as I have a very strong gag reflex I replied 'I can't get anything that big in my mouth' The midwife & I both started to laugh at the same time & she said, 'if you could you probably wouldn't be here now!'

Congratulations to Miss Penguin and Master Specsappeal

    Have a good evening everybody.

I made Twinks and added raisins to them - if I eat many of them do they count towards my 5 a day :rotfl:
I don't know why I'd not thought of doing it before. Kids and mindee helped with the stirring and the adding of said raisins and they are yummy :D
My mum took some home for her and my dad and I think she's nearly eaten the lot :o

Haven't even decided what's for tea tonight :o Really need to pull my finger out with that one - I have some cooked chicken so might see about some cajun chicken :D

Snow is thawing and horrible and slushy - I hate that inbetween stage. I wonder how many people are going to suffer with flooding problems now the thaw is happening.

    Have a happy Friday night.

    Evening all

Not read all of the thread yet but wanted to post in case you thought I'd ditched you all.

Busy day out looking for tiles for the shower room, part success. Did stop at the farm shop as I was near by and restocked with a sack of potatoes (my favourite Piccaso ones) some local honey, eggs and veg.

Just making tea which is jacket potatoes, water cress and homemade chicken nugets.

Need to get DS3 in the bath early to nit comb him as 'the' letter has come home from school.

PenPen - that is great news about your DD on the DofE. DS1 just has the expedition to go in March and then his is complete too. He's hoping to do silver in 6th form next year.

Hope to catch up on the rest of the thread this evening, hugs to anybody who wants one.

Can you have a bucket for things like coffee grounds & tea bags? Then can it go onto a compost heap? And can you use soda crystals to soak your dischloths with a septic tank?

Chocolate raisins should count twice - once for the raisin & once for the chocolate...:rotfl::D:p
