Afternoon All! :hello:
Mega busy day at work yesterday, had to go through every invoice since 2005 for all of our clients! That equals a lot of paperwork and a very tired Squirmy! So absolutely no OS when I got in except putting a HM Pie in the oven with some roasties and veg....I then spent the evening watching trashy tv!
Not so busy at work today, taking it a bit easy as it's Friday :T
OH and I are going out for food tonight to a local indian so don't need to worry about cooking tonight. Still have a mountain of washing to get through so I'll do some of that when I get home seeing as I don't have to do any tea, I really don't know how two people go through so many clothes in a week!
Have a great rest of the day!0 -
Guess who can't remember the simplest things today?! Chicken is just out of the freezer!!
:rotfl:
Hi all
Has anyone else had trouble connecting to MSE today?
Right, before I forget, Congratulations to Miss Penguin and Master Specsappeal.
OS confined to Flylady stuff today, plus HM nut loaf (from freezer) with sweet'n'sour for dins, as I've spent far too much time watching the birds in the back garden. Even had a yellow wagtail today; first time I've seen one here.
Can't believe we're halfway through January already - where's the year going?
Have a good day all; ((((HUGS)))) to all who want/need one today. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

.
I have. It went funny for an hour or so with me round midday. I panicked because I thought work may have blocked the site cos I'm always on here!! :rotfl:
I was pleased when it came back up though because some lovely person had posted on the Grabbit board that the De Vere Hotels had the £19 sale. I was lucky to get 2 rooms for 2 nights at a country hotel 40mins from London for £19 per room per night over Easter weekendI'm going to meet up with friends that I did Camp America with! They all asked how do I find such great deals!
Not meeting friends for coffee now tonight, one cancelled so we have rearranged. Need to pack suitcase for hen weekend, put away laundry, empty DW and make dinner.

Now I would have thought the same as both of you - but I am at home so I know it can't be work's ICT hit squad!!0 -
Afternoon all!
Early for me to-day, really need to get back to getting up early in the mornings, seems like my day only has 18 hours in it these days.
Well done to exam people....no school exams here until June
Sequeena...hope that you are feeling better now.
Ladyshopper....the weight lost is the only up-side to how you've been feeling....get well soon.
Shez....nice to see you back.
Floss.....maybe go back to the string around your finger reminder??
Mioliere....glad that you are better and looking forward to your trip to UK...we have to pay doctor here too, but usually around €60 and the first €120 of meds every month...you can claim tax back on these payments, but we don't have sufficient income to pay tax!
Have spent a good part of the morning on phone.....twice for brother who got no acknowledgement of his booking with BA to go visit his son in US....brother is a very successful businessman but a total Luddite as far as computers are concerned....apparently internet etc are all just a flash in the pan and will be gone in the next few years....yeah right. Then OH wanted to find some horticultural glass to repair the many damaged greenhouse windows.....he can't read, write or count allegedly, as well as being deaf! Sick of these useless men around me, but Bro has been spoilt by me for all of his 56 years and OH for the past 40 years....be warned you young women, they get worse as they get older!
Csarina....we have always had a sceptic tank without very much trouble....I never use coloured toilet tissue, biological washing powder and use vinegar as a softener. Are you excited or just dreading the move??
JackieO...Of course you wash your hair before going to hairdresser....don't you??
NPM....glad to hear that Noah has been able to go back to school
Glad to hear that the snow is at last disappearing in UK, we don't seem to have had it so bad and it has gone now except in higher areas.
Topsyturphy....good luck to DS when he gets his pins out....from memory of motorbike mad brother and sons it is not a very painful procedure.
DD4 and DGS2 for dinner to-day, having spag bol as its easy and popular.
Hugs to all in need or want, welcome newbies, I will eventually get the names

Afternoon all
Been really busy at work as had to get on top of my work as I may not be there next week. I am due to go in hospital for my much cancelled operation on monday and if it doesn't get cancelled again I will be off most if not all of next week.
Called at wool shop on my way home so that I have something to play with whilst I recuperate if I get to have it done:D My freezer is working again now thanks to the lovely repairman, so filled that up this afternoon too, goodness that feels better.
Well done to all the exam folk and hugs to anyone who needs or wants one.

DD is having macaroni cheese for tea, leftover cheese sauce from last night's cauli cheese. I will have a jacket potato and beans, DH will probably have chicken and veg and brown rice when he gets home from the gym.
Hope everyone has a lovely eveningSquares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0
